Elements can’t slow Warriors
It is known as the “sauna effect” — rain followed by heat.
The Warriors endured those elements during this morning’s workout, which also marked the end of Summer Session I.
Several Warriors will attend Summer Session II, which begins on Monday. Many will stick around until the start of the July 26 start of training camp. And some will return to the mainland to visit family and work out on their own. The Warriors will have a week off from organized workouts, as mandated by the NCAA, and will resume UH-supervised training on July 10.
In this drill, strength/conditioning coordinator Bubba Reynolds tosses a succession of bands in several directions. The player has to catch each before the bands hit the ground:

Great pics. Warriors look fit. If commitment to workouts equate to wins, the Warriors should win a bunch….just hoping.
max hendrie needs to get on the field and let loose.what injury is he battling?
Good players and good coaches equal victory.
One missing piece spoils the pie.
Like leaving the cake out in the rain…

Re#5: not surprised at him backing off his commit,he’s still going to camps and getting exsposure so I’m guessing he’s starting to hear from Pac-12 schools
So who’s the new hanapa’a?
Great pics ST; keep them coming!
Phil Steele’s College Football 2017 Preview has Hawaii #3 in the MW West behind SDSU & Nevada (has transfer QB from Alabama & new coach & his air raid offense). In his MW ranking of team units (of 12 MW teams); he ranked our QB#6, RB#8, REC#5, OL#4, DL#9 (bring back Kennedy pls), LB#2, DB#9, ST#12 (boo) and COACHING #9 (wrong). Sorry parenthesis are my comments, lol.
Phil Steele’s Preseason MW Team’s has:
1st team: Dejon Allen, Jahlani Tavai, Trayvon Henderson
2nd team: Diocemy Saint Juste, Meffy Koloamatangi
3rd team: John Ursua, Tui Unga, Viane Moala
4th team: John Waa, Daniel Lewis
Yep…that track looks in bad shape. Just another unmaintained State facility. Where do all our tax dollars go….
If Fred stays healthy, he’s got a good shot to make all conference. Good to see him out there working with the team.
Al:
He doesn’t do that anymore.
He actually went fishing.
