Great pic of the offensive linemen.
You can almost smell their sweat and toil.
Hope they drink lots of V8 juice…
Then they can play way past overtime with gustoh 🙂

808’s first comment about Cal’s 300 pound plus linemen
is a bit scary. But hopefully speed kills 🙂

Cal also has a track star running back who can run a
hundred yards in about ten and half seconds…
Muhammad. You will never catch him from behind.
He also returns kickoffs and catches long passes…
Here is a vid of him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LoR99ad3zw

Hopefully our DLine will run passed and around that massive Oline. Hopefully give the backend a chance to make plays on the ball.
By the way, I think the DBs have looked pretty good the 1st 2 days of camp.

Being a 300 lbs. does not make you a good linemen, it starts with having excellent footwork, quickness, hit quickly and hard, to sustain your block, and read the defense. Normally your linemen should be 280 lbs. to 330 lbs., pending on the player and how his body handles the weight.

Stephen writes that QB Hunter Hughes will rejoin the team on Aug. 22. Seven QB’s will travel to Australia and after that about three will travel.

what happened to our Aussie LB – the 6’4″ 230# who runs a 4.5 or 4.6 40?
i’m not talking about Jared Hayne the 49er recruit who retired to try out for his rugby team and was not selected.

I’m waiting to see 6′ 8″ 350 lbs Austin Webb break out to a starting Offensive lineman. Sure could use him to open up a hole for some speedy tail back. One thing for sure, our offensive line this has size. Now if they can give our starting quarterback (whoever that maybe) a few extra seconds to find that open receiver.

For those who like polls…
“The 2016 college football season is three weeks away from kicking off with Hawaii vs. Cal in Sydney, but fans can get a head start on the season when the top 25 teams in the country are unveiled Thursday in the preseason Amway Coaches Poll.”
