    How do you pronounce Stephen in Stephen Curry ? Steffen ? but not Stephon. And not Steven like in Stephen Tsai.

    My favorite example of alternative pronounciations is the name Aguirre.

    The former DePaul great Mark Aguirre pronounced it A-GWAI-ER.

    But the former Wahine softball player pronounced it A-GEE-RE.
