The Golden Apron
The competition accelerates this weekend for the Warriors.
Yes, we’re talking the battle for the Golden Apron.
Each Sunday, a coach is in charge of providing the staff dinner. At stake is the Golden Apron.
There are no rules, but there is etiquette. Just like how singing contestants can’t use the same songs, it is frowned upon to provide the same entree on consecutive weekends.
Also, because of busy schedules, it is permissible for family members to prepare the meals, or to purchase the food.
The winner will be decided in voting (but a coach may not vote for himself).
There is no clear leader yet. All of the meals have received raves, particularly the bacon-wrapped scallops.

Just don’t use GrubHub food delivery.
Half their employees were threatened with firing if they voted
for Trump.
TOP 2?
Was that the Hep-A variety scallops? I suppose limu poke is out for this weekend.
Seriously? Day before the biggest home game of the season and this is the report?
Unfreakinbelievable.
Best of luck to the Warriors tomorrow night. Hard to imagine a close game, but stranger things happen when you least expect it.

…and how bout dem Raiders in D1!
Time to check out the 2016 edition of the BasketBows.
It will be a lonnnng season for our men’s basketball team. The talent level is just not there. This team couldn’t beat a lower level team tonight. Too many turnovers tonight and missing some open passes when a player had position. Hopefully this team can rebound from the lost tonight and improve by playing hard and execute.
Watch how the Bball team handles pressure when a good team put on a well executed full court press. Somehow I don’t believe that our guards are good enough to handle the situation all game long.
It will be a tough go this year. Support the teams.
Great Morning All!
Read “ferd’s” Words. Nice situation for BSU with their TV contract. Mucho kala!
But, Boise blew their chance at big buck$ vs da Cowboys so no shame in whoopin’ some Bronco Butt today!
GO Warriors!
Watching CGD.
Today’s game is on Bear’s board. Watch out!
The Golden Apron voting needs to include write-in votes from the real fuud-folks…Tsaikos!
…accepting (large) samples at the marina cabanas before every home game! 😉
What no game day article or stuff? Maybe I’m too early-sorry but I could care less about some other schools basketball team no matter how high they rank-GoWarriors!!!!
Brian McInnis covers basketball and has a blog “Court Sense.” I just checked it. Posted since yesterday, but not one comment.
Today’s Game Day article was not the feature article on SA’s digital subscription. No even on the first page. It is buried like a potato in More Sports and after articles about Iolani football, Mililani football, Arizona-Michigan St basketball, Indiana basketball, Wahine volleyball (not really about Wahine, but about a male recruit), then you can find today’s Warrior Game Day football article. I guess you know what SA thinks about UH Warrior football. Just dig in the dirt and you will eventually find a potato.
Thanks H man I just found it. Even though I pan some of the articles the only reason I subscribe is for Warrior football period!
Morning Tsaikos!
Warrior football is front page in the print edition.
Go Warriors!
Beat da Broncos!!
When I was young like Tsai, I wanted to
write a daily football blog called,
“Football, Football, and nothing but Football”.
No baseball, no basketball, no ice hockey,
nothing but football…high school, college and pro.
All year long—especially after the season is over.
Tsigh…
