Ta‘amu not expected to return
Ed Ta‘amu is not expected to return to the Rainbow Warriors as an offensive intern.
It is a family-based decision. Ta‘amu’s fiancee and his young son live in California.
Ta‘amu assisted offensive line coach Chris Naeole the past year, helping prepare scouting reports and tutoring players. This past May, Ta‘amu, who was certified to recruit, and Naeole visited American Samoa. Tafuna High offensive lineman Eperone Moananu made an oral commitment to UH during that recruiting trip.
Ta‘amu is a 1997 Iolani School graduate. He was a two-year starter at Utah. The Minnesota Vikings selected Ta‘amu in the fourth round of the 2002 NFL draft. Knee injuries cut short his NFL career with the Vikings and Houston Texans. Later, he played in the Arena Football League and AF2.
Yeah, The Tsai is back!
Not sure how the eye and nose are related, but if you have a stuffed nose can that make your eye itchy and irritated?
Good morning to all lurkers and posters. And good luck to Ed Ta‘amu and his future bride and his young son in California.
Maybe you got a booger in your eye?
You got to watch where you put your fingers…
I think Mack called me a booger once.
Okay, that is just my opinion…
Good Morning Sports Fans!
Words of wisdom. “Pick but don’t flick” …hehe
Good morning Tsaikos!
Welcome back ST.
Best wishes to Mr. Ta’amu and his family in their future endeavors.

ST: Ed not 2007 Iolani grad

Re #2
Possibly a sinus infection, or the beginnings of one.
Now that the blog is back we can breathe a collective tsigh of relief… hope you had a good week off, Stephen.
Aren’t there Docs called ENTs who specialize in the ear nose and throat?
DPK – it’s not tsigh, it’s tsai…
Thanks for the correction on Ta‘amu’s grad year.
By the way, folks, if you have a Mac, all you need to do is depress option and ] at the same time to get this: ‘
I have no idea how to get an ‘okina on a PC.
I got a lot of work done last week. Hmmm . . .
Aloha all. ST, needless to say–you were missed. Oh, me and another bow, although he played in the period right after me, spent some time with Coach Wags yesterday–he is doing great, enjoying retirement from KS-Keaau, with a lot travel with his ohana.
Great Morning All!

passed your house little after 4 am on 6/3 and you guys were all in the van ready to leave for the airport.
hope you and family had a most successful trip!
A-House:
It was a nice little trip. The kids cleaned and de-cluttered the house in our absence. All those years of nagging only to realize we were the messy ones.
27…are you at work?
Welcome back ST. Hope you had an enjoyable vacation. Was meeting Marie Osmond the highlight of your trip? I once rode an elevator with Jack Lord 🙂
Anyone know if they’re going to expand the Waterhouse training facility/weight room in the SSC now that the new fitness center is operational next to the campus center? Happened to walk by the other day and the old fitness center is closed and sitting idly, with some equipment still in there. Maybe time for another telethon/fundraiser?
“Four plates is still four plates wherever you are lifting it.”
Good morning everyone!
Best wishes to Ed Ta‘amu!
I didn’t miss the blog at all, but nice to see it back. BTW, those 27 hits from my IP address in the last week were purely accidental.
al:
yep, gotta make sum $$$ to feed the Vegas trips!
Ed – 1997 Iolani grad.
Re #2
ST, look up “histamine” and then you’ll understand why you want its anti.
#21… it’s the top left key next to the “1” key, below the “esc” key…
So you need an ‘okina to spell “‘okina”?
Doesn’t that violate some logical rule about not defining something as itself?
So Ed Ta`amu is a ’97 Iolani grad and I think Kanoa is a ’95 Iolani grad.
Go Raiders!
The state should allow one to claim season tickets for any sport in Hawaii to be a charitable contribution. It may not help to fill the stands, but it would be a way to make it easier for local people to support our teams.
hmmmm““`didn’t miss the blog at all. Even with withdrawal symptoms.
32…weren’t you reprimanded for using corporate computers and internet services at the work place?
i wouldn’t want you to get court martialed.
Congrat’s to Mr. and Mrs. Kanoa Leahey, From what I hear he will still do UH basketball games.
can we listen to the daily broadcasts in honolulu?
Welcome back ST
