Reporting for duty
The first wave of Warriors — the newcomers — is scheduled to report to training camp today. There will be orientation sessions, physical examinations and dorm assignments.
This actually is more of a formality. Many of the first-year Warriors have been on campus for several weeks. The freshmen have been enrolled in the six-week bridge program, which allows them to earn up to six credits while adjusting to college life. Offensive lineman J.R. Hensley, who enrolled in Summer Session I, and quarterback Aaron Zwahlen, who returned from a two-year church mission, have been in Hawaii since late May.
The returning players report tomorrow.
The first practice is Wednesday afternoon.

Let’s try to fill half the stadium with GREEN shirts!
Oh, there was a time when I was immature and laughed when I said, “duty.”
OK, that was this morning.
Manoa Mist:
I don’t think that’s true, since I see your post.
I think you need to be a subscriber to post comments on the paper’s breaking news. Not here.
We take everybody’s comments.
Extortion?
Oh, I take back my question. Your last post was not yet posted.
Thanks for the clarification. Go Bows… 🙂
Aloha kakahiaka! Mornin’, ST!

7. RB — Pointed out by someone that Norm previously compared Taylor Graham to Carson Palmer.

ST: Hopefully it’ll (subscriber requirement) cut down on the vitriol that’s posted in the comment section of the SA online articles.
Thanks for the explanation…on the posting issues here….
OK if wittick is our QB is it possible to have A few plays design for Woosley I think it would help us having two QB system that way it gives us an advantage and headaches for opposing teams to get ready for is since they won’t know which QB to prepare for
Howzit Slugger! Long time no see.
Good morning everyone!
The lull before the storm… on the practice field, anyway.
Fall practice is about to start and our first game seems so far away yet…
Imua Na Koa Anuenue. Have a great season. Aloha DPK.
I would think Woolsey will still get some snaps this coming season. If he gets more snaps then anticipated as a backup then that mean one of two things. 1) The starter is (H-word) or 2) the offense is struggling to put points on the board.
Deja vu.
Mr. Tsai I will have you know I am indeed a subscriber to the Star Advertiser. I may seem like a poor homeless vagrant penniless and lacking in any redeeming social qualities, but I will spend my last penny to read and support Stephen Tsai and Dave Reardon, who have been two of my idols for decades now.
HOLY XXXX … you fill in the blank … UH is currently a 7 1/2 point favorite to beat Colorado … I sure hope the oddsmakers know what they’re talking about …

#25 808warriorfan … I don’t anything about sports betting, but with Colorado (-7.5) versus Hawaii (+7.5) on 3 Sept, and New Mexico State (+36) versus Florida (-36) on 5 Sept, it looks like we are hoping for an upset.
Per on another forum, the practice times were released:

I can see a win at Boise and possibly Wisconsin. Utah St. hung with them a few years back and had a great season. If any team at UH, as far as size wise, to be able to play and win against a big school it would be this one. Might see Beau Reilly sometime this year, hopefully on mop up duties on blowouts to give him some experience.
#25, 26, 27
the Buffs are favored by 7-1/2.
