Tigi Hill, D-tackle commit to UH
Tigi Hill of Mesa College (and Kahuku High) and Daniel Ekuale of Vocational Technical High in American Samoa told the Warrior Beat they have accepted football scholarship offers from the Warriors.
Hill, who is 6 feet 3 and 225 pounds, projects as UH safety. He received offers from Auburn, Oklahoma, Arizona State and Nebraska. He will have three years to play three UH seasons.
Ekuale is 6 feet 5 and 295 pounds.
He visited Oregon and Oregon State this past week. He also has received offers from Washington and UCLA.
But Ekuale said he chose the Warriors because of the coaching staff, particularly head coach Norm Chow and linebacker coach Tony Tuioti.
Ekuale said he hopes to join the Warriors in January. If not, he will join in the summer.
He said his name is spelled with a “K” although some have used the spelling “Etuale.”

Don’t stop believing
Today is tomorrow, because I’m going Christmas shopping Sunday.
My work here, it appears, is done.
Welcome, Mr. Ekuale.
Can I give you my Christmas list and you do my shopping for me, ST?
We almost got hurt tonight. A car going at least 40 mph ran a red by about two seconds, narrowly missing us and then a van in the intersection.
Scholies are going out fast. Some who wait til too long may not have an offer on the table.
ST enjoy the day off carrying shopping bags for wifey
Lots of company and graduation parties on this wet windy night. Drive defensively
ST? I heard that if Oregon offers Ekuale he’s gone. I hope they are wrong on saying that!! I hope he sticks to his commitment.
ST? Is Joe M here on his visit?
ST.
Was he also offered by Oregon and Oregon State or did he just visited them without an offer.
There are a couple of people mentioned who are not visiting this weekend.
BigWave is correct. UH is holding some scholarships but it is close to being done.
GOOD NIGHT HAWAII!
ST – most guys do their Christmas shopping on 12/24!
Mr Ekuale – welcome!
Not sure of what he has on the table, but as of 75 minutes ago, he said he is fully committed to UH.
And this is why i record every interview.
tommui:
I was supposed to finish a good part of the shopping tonight, but then there was the near-accident and then the football commitment. I suppose I could have waited on the commitment, but somebody named cinqo said he would be waiting for a post. Hey, sometimes I take requests.
Abunai, I seem to hear that about many local kids who verbals to Hawaii. If Oregon offers they will pull a Wade Keliikipi.
My response is, how many scholies does Oregon have left?
Careful when saying a recruit chose UH because of Norm Chow. Some people stuck in the past and living off biases for selfish reasons dont want to hear that.
That’s when he told me about his name.
He said, “with a K, like kangaroo.”
I’m not arguing with a human eclipse.
No doubt Oregon is a great program.
But this guy grew up on a tropical island and spent the past semester living in Seattle.
There’s something to be said about the Brrrr Effect.
I love, love, love Reno.
But a couple of years ago, we were trying to do on-field interviews in the chill.
That’s when I remembered that I loved, loved, loved indoor Reno.
ST: Yeah, who wants to go to school in a place where it’s overcast, cold, and rainy 9 months out of the year. People walk around with their heads down, avoiding eye contact, always drinking coffee, having to layer your clothing, always talking about when the sun will come out again, and you have to wear rain gear.
Daniel San! Focus. Wax On, Wax Off. I’ll call him The Karate Kid! Mr. Ekuale is a big man at 6’5″ 295. Welcome to the Warrior program. Is there a highlight video?
BigWave96744. Funny you brought that up about how much does Oregon have. Because they only have 11 commits if I’m not mistaken. So they can recruit alot more. Funny thing is I can’t believe they only have that much. I would expect try would have more. But I guess not.
Wow could this guy be better than Kennedy? Amazing future Dline
Recruits comin in. Oh Yes!
Keep the good news coming ST! Glad you were safely missed that accident!
It’s really a great and helpful piece of information. I am happy that you simply shared this helpful info with us. Please stay us up to date like this. Thank you for sharing.
Welcome to the Warriors, DT Daniel Ekuale!
ST, as always thank you for the great reporting! Take good care and be safe this Christmas season! May you and your family have a joyous Christmas and Blessed New Year!

thank God for guardian angels.
isn’t Daniel a.k.a. tanielu?
Shaping up to be a nice looking recruiting class!
Is it possible that we may see more surprise recruits? What you think Al?
His size might be better suited for the offensive line. Maybe defensive end.
Wow al up late eh!!
I mean early…. Lol
ST, thanks for the overtime last night. Christmas shopping is overrated anyway. Pretty exciting recruiting news this past week. brrrr factor? Ben coming home to a high of 40 today. Happy holidays to all of you.
This could be our best recruiting class in a really long time… Wow, let’s go Warriors!
The news get’s better every day—Welcome Warrior Ekuale
Happy Sunday!
Welcome to a VLH!
Whoo-hoo!!!
Good luck to the new graduates and future employees!
Storms headed this way. Blizzard conditions expected up at the top of the hills.
Dang.
Thankful the Tsai clan are safe.
What the heck is up with folks running red lights?
Seems to happen much more frequently.
Oops.

Breakfast time!
Fooooooooood.

This is Great! Many thanks.

Re: Shopping
2 words: On Line.
Bennies include:
– Not having to be stuck in traffic, going to and coming back from shopping anywhere on island.
– No red light runners to worry about.
– Not having to settle for parking out in the far corner of the lot, and waiting for the shuttle.
– Never having to worry about arm wrestling the lady who grabbed the very lastBoon Swaggler you were going to surprise Wena with.
– Never being distracted by the onolicious sights & smells of the Mall Food Court vendors. (not to mention the grand kids wanting to ride the Xmas train 25 more times).
– The worst part is the chaos at the checkout counter. You know your choice of standing in the slowest line will also include the clerk that has to close her register as soon as you are next – so she can go create a lunch line at the food court!
– Remember that there are those sites that ship orders over a certain amount…free! AND the UPS guy delivers your packages to your front door!
– Words to fogittah ’bout: “When the going gets tuff, da tuff go shopping!”
Save Sunday for breaking news events ST. Like I always tell you…be mindful that you are a powerful member of the local Sports media. This is the time of year that your cell phone is tweeting off da hook! Your public awaits you…

@52 was my “like” of 51!
ST,
Good to land another DT commit.
Regarding American Samoa, what’s the latest with FB/LB Penitito Fa’alogogo?
Fa’alologo?
GOOOOOOOD MOOOOORNING HAWAII!!……What a wonderful day!!….the suns just a little bit brighter and the sky is a bit more bluer….
Looks like my Christmas wish came true, all 6’5″ and 295 lbs of it…..lol

Ne’er mind Oregon already. They’re like China — build up a lot of greatness, then, maange top shoot themselves in the foot at the finale. A Grease don’t see a national championship for them in any of our lifetimes.
God bless and take care. Some o’these drivers . . . make the driving test more difficult!!!!! And the penalties for driving w/out license have mandatory jail time.
#57, WWE kine?? Ooooooh Yeaaaaaaah!!
Happy Birthday to both former Warrior (and Castle Black Knight) LB Blaze Soares and former Rainbow (and Leilehua Mule) WR Kyle Mosely!
Kapakahi,
Are you implying that Tua’au might not come to Hawaii?
#65,
The fact is….that some Pac-12 and Big-12 schools are still actively recruiting Tua’au…..even though he was an early verbal Warrior commit, so not a done deal yet…..until LOI signed, sealed, and delivered.
#63 pampero firpo “the missing link”
Understood.
morning gang!
wow… great news on the recruits
happy birthday Kyle! ….. squato
GOOD MORNING HAWAII – once more!
The sun is shining bright and (knock wood) the recruiting looks bright as well.
And looks like AL was up from the tables (gambling and/or food) at midnight from his posting.
Is that pic for the new facilities?
Soares! That guy was an animal. Where is he now? I thought for sure he would get some time on Sunday.
So what is the story on the locker room?
Regarding Oregon, maybe the rumors of the HC leaving for the NFL is hurting recruiting? Maybe it’s true and he’s not recruiting????
Welcome new Warriors!
Yea!
And the PACKERS game is on!
YEA YEA!
Have a great day, everyone!
as much as possible, drive defensively for you and your family – especially during the Holiday Season – for that matter, do it all the time.
More great recruiting news! Welcome to the Warriors, Daniel!
for whatever reason, al has been very quiet this recruiting season!
maybe he is yielding to ST?
thank God for guardian angels.
Yep.
We’re a gaggle of volunteers and starting a brand new scheme in our community. Your website provided us with valuable info to paintings on. You’ve performed a formidable activity and our whole community might be thankful to you.
This has to be the best recruiting class that I’ve ever seen!! Crazy!
Who would’ve thought. Especially with a losing season? Amazing!!
Nice pics! Especially of that locker room!
Looks like coaches are building a solid JC recruiting pipeline with Mesa College (Az.)…..landing both Griffin and Hill.
Always good to see a former signee re-sign with the home team……also with 3 to play 3 since he redshirted this past season.
Birthday shoutout to Blaze! Miss seeing him on those episodes of the C&K show…hilarious stuff!
Good morning everyone!
…I’m taking advantage of the slow blog clock too.
Welcome Warriors Tigi Hill and Daniel Ekuale!
If that picture is supposed to be our future locker room, UHAD should post that picture along with plans and other pictures on the website.
People and I am sure players visit the athletics website. It would help build excitement with what the facilities will look like.
@79 A-House: “for whatever reason, al has been very quiet this recruiting season!”
If you are making a mint in Las Vegas, who has time to make noise on TWB? :<)
Wonder if coaches recruiting 1st team 2012 NJCAA All-American CB Damarious Randall….also a teammate of Griffin & Hill at Mesa College (Az.)…..who’s still uncommitted.
http://www.hudl.com/athlete/519590/#highlights/16344391
I hope they recruit Damarious Randall also.
Looking like Crusader OG Reeve Koehler is now planning to wait ’til January to check out Arkansas…..where the former Tennessee OL coach is now at.
http://recruiting.scout.com/2/1249467.html
Will be interesting to see if Coach will be willing to hold a scholie open for Reeve ’til then.
Randall also a KR/PR……already de-committed from Arizona State….originally from the Sunshine State.
Need to show Reeve the movie about Deliverance…that’s all you need to know about Arkansas 🙂
Tigi Hill. This is the biggest get so far!!!!
Welcome back HOME!!
I can’t remember a better job recruiting…period. Gotta give the Coaches their due.
Good job Coach Chow and Staff.
Go Warriors.
Tigi Hill is a big-time get for UH.
I think they’re just about done.
This might be a first. I did a telephone interview with Tigi Hill while I was in Victoria’s Secret.
ST,
Any update with Tua’au?
Would be another big-time get.
ST? Any news on the florida recruits?
I hope Aofaga Wily is part of the recruiting class too. One tough runner and a money player you can always count on.
Kapakahi? Should we be worried about C. Tua’au commit?
#102,
Don’t know. Just know that other schools (especially Oregon State) not backing off.
#101,
Heard that Wily plans to go on LDS mission first. Hope that Faga decides to follow the Inoke Funaki plan (mission first, then UH).
Besides Wily & Koehler, only Failauga & Johnson the last remaining uncommitted local HS prospects (not counting Savaiinaea – who is supposedly deciding between UCLA & Texax A&M) still with confirmed offers (Johnson a greyshirt offer) from UH. Hopefully Taleni too.
#103, I hope the coaches put the full court press on everyone so nobody can poach in and get anybody….
ST,
Almost done with recruiting? Seems they just started and we have so many holes to fill. Hope next year is not another lost year.
I like that KR/PR/CB/S . We need a big time playmaker. Also, RB St. Juste from Florida. He’s a game breaker too.
Based upon some comments made yesterday about UH-Manoa Department of Athletics Capital Improvement Projects, here are some clarifications:
The $12,500,000 CIP allocation in the current fiscal year includes $125,000 for planning and $125,000 for design with the balance – $12,250,000 – being used for construction.
Generally speaking, the planning component for all state projects regardless of the specific department may be (Transportation, Land & Natural Resources, Education, etc.) is done in-house while the design is likely to be done by the contractor who has been awarded the construction component.
No one private sector entity can have a contract to do all three phases. If a given department does not have the particular skills to do in-house planning, then a private sector firm can do the planning and design while a second firm can do the construction as an option.
The planning and design components cannot exceed more than two percent of the construction budget.
Another issue which needs to be addressed is the fact that all CIP allocations – regardless of the department – do not “live” forever. Generally speaking, a project “dies” if not implemented at the end of the second fiscal year following the current year. In other words, a CIP allocation for planning in this year’s budget has to be started by June 30, 2015.
However, if the planning has already been done, then it can be kept alive quite easily by working directly with the legislative chairs – the subject matter chair (Higher Education) and Finance/Ways & Means).
The Governor’s support for capital projects is extremely important because s/h can withhold the release of the money even though the Legislature placed it in the budget bill. That was done on numerous times over the past 18 years by three different governors.
HOWEVER, in this instance, Governor Abercrombie is strongly supportive of the AHAD construction projects.
As for the proposed improvements at the Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium, perhaps the most important task for the team’s support and its future would be to sit down with the key leaders in both the State Senate and the House to educate and inform them about what needs to be done – including a tour.
I would also urge that people who are concerned about these projects moving forward bring in some of the downtown business leaders to get involved.
For years, there had been a Chancellor’s Office staff member who oversaw all the construction projects at Manoa. However, he left UH sometime during this past year and I do not know if his replacement is on board yet. Will confirm that because his office was accessible to anyone who was interested in tracking a particular project – like replacing the turf at Ching Field three years ago.
According to highly-reliable sources, the University of Hawai`i System has indicated that it will not submit its budget until such time as the State House addresses its internal leadership issues. No one in the State Senate has been given any indication as to what will be placed on the table for further discussion.
Because nothing is set in cement yet for 2013, I strongly urge that those of you who have concerns about CIP matters – whether for men’s or women’s or coed sports – bring your ideas to key leaders in the State Senate. If you are interested in getting in touch with probable/potential House leaders, then contact me for further information.
Back to work.
Just saw Gigi at Pearlridge eating an ice cream cone.
She looked glorious.
Hmmm… was gonna name someone who might get you a discount on anything that will fit you in there, but privacy concerns…. 🙄
Warrior Dave:
Yep, they’re just about done with recruiting.
I suppose they could cut some players to make room for more, but then we might have some people grousing, so let’s rule that out.
Holes?
No, wait. I was reading all year that players who weren’t playing should be playing.
What holes?
WassupDoc — I was wondering when the House would train it’s 155mm budget howitzers on Bachman hall. i was expecting a major barrage months ago. Elections delayed that?
Looks like DT Keti Salakielu also committed to Hawaii. From Green Valley in NEvada.
No commitment on Salakielu, who is scheduled to go on a mission next year, anyway.
UH will be bringing in the Florida guys in January. g
Tua’au???
Hmmmm…..
How bout dem Cowboys!
Tua‘au is still committed to UH.
By the way, I was alerted by some recruits that they received messages from local readers telling them not to go to UH.
Wow.
Not cool.
Very uncool.
I was totally open in the end zone against BYU but its not my birthday.
ST,
Thanks for the confirmation on Tua’au. Another big-time get for Warriors! Mid-year transfer?
TK, Powell & Tuioti doing a solid job filling the holes at DL…..by landing Ekuale, Manoa, Tua’au & Tulimaseali’i. Not counting DT Moala since sounds like he might need some more time (e.g., Ronald Fields) and Sale sounding like he’s be at OLB instead.
JMHO but would still be nice to land either Failauga and/or Taleni.
Totally uncool!
ST. Kindly tell the recruits that for every jerk that deters them from coming to UH there’s 10,000 of us with open arms and aloha that can’t wait to have them represent Hawaii.
#120,
Wow, what bastards. Guess when you are ugly, fat, and gross you don’t have anything better to do. Me being the exception off course.
That’s what happens when you have people more obsessed about individuals (coaches) rather than having real dedication to the program as a whole.
Some people still cannot accept change and are still stuck lamenting over their biases….
Steve M:
There will definitely be some clear looks at Bachman Hall, but the people who will be directing the artillery are people who did not have highly-competitive (if at all) General Election opponents. The internal House organizational conflict will determine who will be in charge of the Judiciary and Finance committees. The Higher Education Committee is safe.
Howzeet Hawaiian! That’s a great response… I agree.
Stephen – Were these “readers” of the one-person, multiple-names variety? Representatives of rival schools, perhaps? I hope the recruits have a way of screening those messages…
Hi, gang!
ST – Glad your guardian angels were close by last night.
Happy birthday to the birthday boys!
Going to hear my nephew sing tonight with the Honolulu Symphony Chorus at St. Andrews. Some of you know him from karaoke Call.
Totally —— for people to tell recruits not to come to UH. leave it to the professionals, which they are not, esp. in action.
Good luck to the graduates in post-college FB play or in the working world.
Our President is speaking now at the CT memorial. Please continue to pray for the victims and families.
126 – iwwthm –
+1… *sigh* You post as if you knew me… in all my dark despair.
Hey errybody here – I love you all!
Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and/or any other way you wanna call it. As bulla likes to put it- “be blessed, not stressed”!
#108,
With the exemptions to the State Procurement Law expiring this past June, it’ll be interesting to see how UH-Manoa now undertakes and implements its CIP projects.
From what I understand, UH is holding scholarships for the MPI guy (please refer questions to JM2375) and Koehler (please refer questions to D1shima).
They’re holding a scholarship for the Punahou guy, but, alas, not holding their breath.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTbhVlHuONo
#108,
Speaking of Ching Field (installed in 2008), JMHO that the synthetic turf system is starting to look pretty worn down…..compared to the Murakami Stadium Field (same turf product installed a year earlier in 2007) and nearby Roosevelt HS Stadium Field (different turf product also installed in 2008).
Apparently according to Rob DeMello, people have been calling in to complain about an NFL game getting cut off due to the airing of the memorial of the victims in CT.
Some people are shocked that people are complaining about this.
Im not shocked. To be shocked at the reactions of people is to have faith that we are a decent society.
Again, I am not shocked people feel a football game carries more merit than paying some respect to innocent victims.
Humanity hasn’t surprised me in years.
#136,

Howzit Everybody,
Kapakahi #140,
You may be pleasantly surprised. With the boys connection with the Lakalaka family, there may just be a chance. Oh and by the way, Semisi and middle Lakalaka (Ronley) have been to every home game this year in support of the eldest Lakalaka (Steven).
Oh and if you thought Semisi is big-time, wait till you see his little braddah Alama. Boy will be beast by the time get’s up to the varsity level. Only 7th grade and already 6’2 and around 250.
Simply wish to say your article is as astounding. The clarity to your publish is simply cool and that i can assume you are knowledgeable in this subject. Fine with your permission allow me to clutch your RSS feed to stay updated with imminent post. Thanks one million and please keep up the enjoyable work.
#141 & #142. kk,
Saw Semisi on the field for a couple of early UH games…..along with Canton and Isaac.
Barring injury, no doubt that Semisi is gonna be big-time by his senior season.
Re #120: Just goes to show you that there are many in this state who are NOT UH supporters, who have strong anti-UH biases, who look down on UH, or people who are still unhappy with the coaching change that took place. Can’t say you have such people (saboteurs) in places like Nebraska, Missouri, Wisconsin, or even Wyoming – place where these schools are the only Div-I football program in the state.
Considering that Coach is close with Mission Viejo HS Diablo HC Bob Johnson, JMHO that kinda surprising that FB/DE Garrett Marino isn’t getting a look from the Warriors…..even as a greyshirt prospect.

#141. kk,
I’m sure you already know, but the other connection with UH is the Veikune family.
Bumped into and talked story with David’s parents (who still attend UH games) at some regular season ILH games to support their nephew Semisi.
Acc
According to hawaiiFootball.net FB page, Simeon Thomas is gonna play in paradise…
Pretty good recruiting class if all falls into place. Good job Coaching staff.
BIK
If one navigates by stars then you could get lost with this recruiting class so far, but I like how this group is shaping up to be. We know how underrated our very own local boys are, so there is so much excitement with the guys deciding to stay home. Love it!!!
Hey ST:
Simeon Thomas just posted that he is going to pick UH
https://www.facebook.com/HawaiiFootbal.lnet
Come on Simeon Thomas, jump on board. Do great things in Hawaii.
ST, Will Levi from Nevadaprepreport.com is saying Hawaii got a commitment from Keti Salakielu. Considers him a elite talent for a 6-5 295 DT. Maybe he is going on his mission so wont count until 2015 class.
Planning for the future
The Warriors didn’t forget to plan for the future with a host of high school players committed to the program this week.
Green Valley defensive tackle Keti Salakielu reportedly commited to Hawaii
A major sleeper reported to have committed to the program is Green Valley inside force Keti Salakielu (6’5 295). An elite talent with outstanding speed for such a big man, Salakielu is a player that is said to have the staff extremely excited.
Originally from the islands, had a huge impact as a senior keying a huge turnaround for the Gators tracking the ball down sideline to sideline.
He passes the eye test of an elite looking DT. Pretty cut for a 300 pound linemen
The challenge for the award for the Ching Field artificial turf was filed in late summer of 2008. After the challenge resolution was resolved, work began in November, 2008, and was completed in early 2009. The field was dedicated about a month before the 2009 Spring Training.
With respect to the worn surface on the Ching Field, I remember sitting at a public hearing in 2008 and hearing one of the bidders state that there was a five year graduated warranty. I know that the Field is heavily used throughout the entire year – not just by UH sports teams and the marching band but also by community groups and individuals, but this is an issue that needs to be addressed by coaches and UHAD administrators.
I notice that the Aloha Stadium turf is also looking kind of junk as well.
Hope all these new recruits qualify for UH. I’ll be squeezing until then.
158. I’d worry more about other schools poaching over them qualifying.
Dec 19 and Feb 6 can’t come fast enough….
Nytal!
Uncool !
120…what do you expect when so many players were treated so horribly? Wow…you experience t them to quietly put their tails between their legs and whimper off? Absolutely insane stuff going on there!!! Shame on you!!”
(#164 – wasabi / in reference to #120)
So, tell me, who / what, exactly, was treated so horribly.
Not playing because one got beat out, however tuff that is to accept, to me, that’s just “big boy” football.
Did I miss something?
Somebody get treated badly?
I don’t recalling ever hearing about that (reading or talking to some of the kids)
#157,
Ching Field installation supposed to have the 8-year industry-standard turf system warranty….same like the Roosevelt HS field installed at Ticky Vasconcellos Stadium at around the same time.
No doubt very heavily used in many ways, but still doesn’t really explain why the same synthetic turf system product is holding up noticeably better at Murakami Stadium (which was installed a year earlier) which also has the same 8-year industry-standard turf system warranty.
Definitely not a maintenance-related since the work crews under Kyle Tengan and Mike Nakaya both do a great job.
JMHO but definitely sounds like the Lower Campus UHAD administrators should be checking with the Upper Campus Facilities Management Office (who contracted the work) about enforcing that warranty.
The Hawaiian Airlines Field at Aloha Stadium is the same synthetic turf system product as the new Mililani HS field at John Kauinana Stadium…..and is similar to what was installed at the Roosevelt HS field at Ticky Vasconcellos Stadium…..and is also similar to what will be installed for the new Alexander Field at Punahou School. Pretty certain that the Punahou folks wouldn’t have selected a similar turf system IF they thought that any of these fields looked kinda junk when they inspected them.
#157,
Meant Glenn Nakaya….not Mike.
#164 so youuuu da one!
Rivals.com has Hawaii with 21 commitments. Doesn’t include Daniel Ekuale or Simeon Thomas, but everybody else is listed including Ewaliko, Fields, Keti, Tigi, Griffin, etc .It also includes Moala and Tua’au. Hard to keep track or even know how many scholarships that the coaches can still offer and can’t tell who’s going on a mission or is grayshirting or if they are going to qualify to get in school or whatever. All I know is that NCAA only allows 25 initial scholarships and a total of 85. Don’t know about any walk-ons or if anybody else will leave the program either. Not sure if there’s enough room to get Damarious Randall or St. Juste, these 2 guys are athletic, with playmaking skills and speed.
Nu’u’uli Voc Tech he was supposed to attend Chabot JC this fall but apparently did not???
ST,
Warriors still actively pursuing LA County South Bay prospects DL Paulo Lepua (Narbonne HS, Harbor City, CA.) and/or OL Emerald Faletuipapai (Serra HS, Gardena, CA.)?
derek…josh long, ronnie fields, and dejon allen will probably count as 2012 recruits.
also, three scholies being held for koehler, savaiingaiea, and failuaga.
then, there’s the florida entourage in january.
wily, if he accepts will go his mission and would count later.
also, that list may not be entirely accurate.
not to forget that we have koloamatangi and kiha sai coming off redshirt years. then, in another year lavaka completes his mission. all coming in to help bolster the oline.
Is Anthony Pierce a gray shirt ? Is he already enrolled?
the recruiting list is getting shorter. some are no longer being pursued as others are committing.
in recruiting, there is always the contingency plan.
Re: Thomas.
I do not believe that is a done deal.
Yet.
Re: Pierce
He will enroll at UH in January.
Now understand one thing, UH is actually going to be a ghost town until Jan. 2.
Something to do with furlough/pay cuts.
I believe only essential employees — coaches, the Princess — will be on campus.
Simeon Thomas committing to UH…Is that old news or something?
#175,
Mahalo. Hope Demo can box it up for x-mas. He would be a nice get.
@ Al (et all)
I have it on really good word from the Bay Area, that Hawaii fans should not be surprised if Leo Koloamatangi’s younger brother also becomes a Warrior Recruit and signs on the dotted line come February 6th.
ST, al, kapakahi, jeezy33
Is this an option for us now?

Hello, Neat post. There’s an issue along with your web site in web explorer, might test this? IE still is the market leader and a large section of other folks will pass over your wonderful writing due to this problem.
This is great news…..also anybody with an axe to grind, by trying to chase off commits should understand a voice from a nobody……counts fotr nothing. If you give your word then any attempt to deter should be met with higher degree of resolve. Added depth, competition, size and impact with this class so far. I have said numerous times this will be a major makeover and a foundation to build a program—-not just a team. I believe in this staff and slowly the converts will fill the tent (stadium). “We will have our day, our day is coming” NC…….Go Warriors and to the new commits and all the others….Welcome……to the “H”!!!!!!!
Good Morning Folks! Welcome to another Warrior Tigi Hill! Happy Belated Birthday Wishes Blaze! Have a wonderful day everyone!
