Comeback route for Anguay

It was 2,308 days ago — June 21, 2009 — when Samson Anguay made a verbal commitment to play for the Warriors.

After wearing three different shirts — grayshirt, redshirt and medical shirt — enduring three knee injuries and earning a bachelor’s degree, Anguay continues to honor that commitment.

Anguay, a slotback, has officially rejoined the Warriors after a medical hiatus and is competing in unsupervised workouts this summer.

Haven’t been so excited for the upcoming season for several years now. My juices are starting to flow. Love what Rolo and staff is doing so far. Change brings new hopes and dreams.

Warriors looking great! Excited to see some of the freshmen working out – Good luck to our ‘Bows. Coach Rolo doing an awesome job both on and off the field.

They need the JUGS machine out, too many dropped passes last year.

ST, great pictures. I think Samson added some good weight during that long stretch of trying to get on the field. I hope he looked that ball into his hands. Looked like he was already looking to run. Maybe it’s because he’s one of those fast twitch guys that as soon as he’s got the ball, he’s ready to go.

Samson is a true Warrior. Hope he gets on the field this year and makes some big catches.

It would be wonderful to see Anguay have a magical season. Patience, persistence and passion will hopefully hopefully hit paydirt for this Warrior.

Mr. Tsai, you take great pics and we keep loving them. Mahalo!

Does anyone know Anguay’s current height and weight?

If I had Ursua’s body, I would never wear a shirt.

I love Punchbowl’s comment. Most of us would do the same.

Does Samson still have his speed with all the added weight and knee problems?

  12. Ipu Man July 7, 2016 5:01 pm

Prayers for Samson to have a long successful season injury free.
And Dakota Torres looks like he could split the atom…

#3 “Warrior Dave” … I understand how you feel as I feel the same way …BUT… this year I’m not expecting much. What I want to see is this team do is compete for 60 mins and not give up. Those blowouts we had in the 2nd half of last season, you could see the players, especially on “D” give up. Once the ball carrier broke free, be it a WR/RB/TE, guys were just running half speed to the ball carrier. Compete for 60 mins, give it 100%, and I’ll be happy with that. Recruiting, the culture, and the mindset, the wins will come down the road…maybe not in ’16…but I’ll be supporting “Rolo” and the guys
