Butler invited to Saints’ camp this summer
After a successful tryout this past weekend, former UH defensive back Dejaun Butler has been invited to the New Orleans Saints’ training camp this summer.
Butler will compete as a defensive back and special-teams player.
After the tryout, Butler met with Saints head coach Sean Payton. At Payton’s recommendation, Butler will train for the next month at Unbreakable Performance Center is Los Angeles. Fox NFL analyst Jay Glazer and former MMA star Randy Couture own the center, which specializes in training football players in MMA-styled workouts.
During today’s visit to the center, Butler ran into rapper/actor Wiz Khalifa.

Go Dejaun, the YouTube sensation!
Wishing Dejaun success with the Saints.
Way to take advantage of that opportunity.
Morning Tsaikos!
Great news about Dejuan. Hard work pays off.
Agree with Al from yesterday. Many are quick to criticize. BM mentioned in his article that players can still come on board through the summer.

MAHALO to all our helmet sponsors for answering Coach Rolo’s call for new (not white!) helmets for our Warrior football team this coming season! Mahalo to Brian Kajiyama for stopping by today with his check that helped us reach that goal!
NaKoa Mike thanks for update info and thanks too Brian for “topping it off”
Good luck Dejuan! Thanks Brian!
Thank you to all of you that donated to the new helmet campaign. I really loved our green helmet during the JJ era. What ever happened to those?
