It appears that former UH receiver Billy Ray Stutzmann and defensive tackle Siasau “Saui” Matagiese are ready to move on to the rest of their lives.
Both have declined to participate in UH’s Pro Day on March 20.

The way I figure it, you take a shot. If you do well at pro day and you get someone’s attention, maybe you end up in someone’s camp.
If not, you can use the degree and get a job. At least there’s peace. You don’t want to be the guy in Bruce Springsteen’s “Glory Days.”
the thing is, manoa mist, you do quite a bit of trash talking. you shouldn’t be surprised when people are generally tired of your negative attitude.
If BRS was 100 percent healthy last season, he would’ve done pretty good I think.

I read DR’s article and didn’t see where the feds are involved. Is it because the player in question is from Canada? Let’s see how hard the NCAA can slap.
I’m not sure what to make of the Akana situation. At first I thought it had something to do with a the recruits temporary visa, and that mistakes were made on the documents by both sponsor and the recruit that caused immigration officials to make an inquiry. If mistakes were made, I would find it hard to believe there was any maliciousness involved.
Unless what was inserted in the document was used to circumvent time consuming paperwork and approvals…I don’t know, just adding to the movie trailer. 😆

I’ve been to all the home BB games but can’t recall the last time Jankovic got into a game. This may give some credence that the violation involves his recruitment.
That would be that Missouri transfer, Stefan Jankovic, that’s not eligible to play until next year as he would have to sit out the first half of the season.
Meant to say Jankovic would have to sit out the first half of next season.

31. Coco: Stefan Jovanovic and Stefan Jankovic are two different cats. Jovanovic is on the active roster, and Jankovic is the Missouri Transfer who will not be eligible until Jan 2015. Jovanovic was employed in the Hack-a-Dou game plan at Irvine. Waiting for the day that they are both on the court at the same time.

The Akana situation is still being investigated…No sense in speculating unless you’ve got absolute facts. If it does lead to Akana leaving the program, it will be a loss to the University.
If Akana goes, Gib must go….
1. Akana most likely didn’t act on his own if he did anything involving documents.
2. If Akana did something that bad under Gibs watch, then he should be gone too. HC need to lead.
If Akana leaves it will be a blow to the program but I would be more worried about Fotu possibly leaving too for the pros since it has been stated that he is very close to Akana.

#40: I don’t think that will happen unless Gib is complicent…Assistants have done things in the past without a head coaches’ knowledge, so it will depend on the severity. As you’ve indicated, the “buck stops” at the HC, so Gib will have to shoulder some blame (which will be handled internally between BJ and him) no matter what the case should be. If the offense is as severe as what happened at USC, (where Gib was previously) you can expect the HQ to be gone too…

What would be added? Are we talking money? Not trying to presume anything, but I am just clueless as to what would be “added.”
me thinks sum type of forgery..like changing date of birth etc..if you do that to a 10 dollar bill n try make 100..is forgery..n changing say on passport …or release from another college etc… but could be nothing..if when it was originally typed.. the union clerk made an error.. n tried to correct..but have to do so officially..other wise could be criminal.. depends on intent i guess.. maybe mr. tommy mui canm explain better ??
