    Air Force beating Boise?

  7. z November 25, 2016 12:57 pm

I like how Air Forces defense is playing. Boise State quarterback is getting knocked down.

  8. al November 25, 2016 2:29 pm

I believe we just need to win tomorrow to bowling.

  9. Bugaz November 25, 2016 2:44 pm

Congrats to both Warrior NFL hopefuls! Show your stuff!

How many bowls are affiliated with MW? With Boise St. losing to AF, they will be out of the running for a New Year’s bowl game. So that means there are 6 teams that are bowl eligible, ahead of UH. They are: Wyoming (8-3), Boise St. (10-2), New Mexico (7-4), Air Force (9-3), Colorado St. (6-5), San Diego St. (9-2).

Maybe UH goes bowling elsewhere ???

if it comes down to it, the conference will negotiate a swap to send another team to another mainland bowl so we can go to the Hawaii Bowl because it makes more sense (for the conference and for us). I would imagine them finding a different game for SDSU so they don’t end up going to the Poinsettia Bowl again.

  12. ai-eee-soos November 25, 2016 3:35 pm

If Hawaii is “bowl eligible”, they will be offered the Hawaii Bowl,

by the 8OO-lb. GORILLA – the originator/owner of the bowl. ERT (Espn Regional Televison.

This subject has been covered in previous post(s).

  13. al November 25, 2016 3:38 pm

It will be the Hawaii bowl..
    No other recourse.

#13 al. yup – all the WARRIORS need to do is WIN !!!

etickethawaii has Hawaii Bowl tickets for ten bucks for Black Friday. I bought a couple as a show of confidence. If they don’t get in, at least i am doing my part to support the game.

With Air Force beating Boise St 27-20, you just have to wonder how in the world UH beat Air Force with the Warriors losing to Boise St by a score of 16-52. I mean UH did not have an answer for Boise St’s QB Rypien and RB McNichols where they combined for 491 yards; team offense 603 total yards against the Warriors. And the Warriors followed that with a nail-biting 14-13 nail-biting and very fortunate win against a dismal Fresno St. team. Will the real UH Warriors please stand up.

H man I was at the AF game-you could feel the energy! Should never have gone to overtime-looking for that same effort tomorrow. GoWarriors!!!!

  18. al November 25, 2016 4:51 pm

H-man…that’s football for you. It’s why you got to play the game.

By the way did you notice how times they ran up the middle?

  19. H-Man November 25, 2016 7:15 pm

Yup, that is football, but this team has been a real Jekyll and Hyde team. Hoping the “Warriors” show up on Saturday. Let it be the second to last game for the season. Go Warriors !!!

    Great Evening All!

    Tanks Aaron.

    Black Friday deal still going…

    Same as you, I figgah, “10 bucks…ynot?”

  21. Akamai Okole November 25, 2016 8:25 pm

    Congratulations to Sanchez and Koloamatangi.

  22. Old Diver November 25, 2016 8:46 pm

The name Jim Zorn leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

  23. Akamai Okole November 25, 2016 10:08 pm

    Tough loss for the BasketBows

  24. cappie the dog November 25, 2016 10:11 pm

It seems to be a Hawaii tradition for its big men to lay the ball up against the glass instead of dunking it.

  25. Maddog50 November 26, 2016 6:32 am

Good weather tonight-a little breezy but good. UMass has nothing to lose so expect anything. For the Warriors to win the O has to consistently move and score points. It’s all in them now to show they want it. Penalties turnovers and “inconsistent” play won’t cut it. GoWarriors!!!

  26. Wes'side Warrior November 26, 2016 7:46 am

    Aloha, Gang!
    Hoping for that win tonight.
Finally getting a chance to get to a game again…
Any Tailgating? Usual spots? Sorry, but I need an update. Been out of the loop for far too long.
Mahalo! See you all out there tonight.

  27. not Sean November 26, 2016 8:07 am

Congratulations Rigo and Leo! Pray you’re not on zorn’s team. And if you are, just nod your head, smile and don’t listen to a word he says.

  28. Maddog50 November 26, 2016 9:25 am

As I wait for KO vs UMass……Illinois, Rutgers and AZ State are bad football teams period!

  29. A-House November 26, 2016 9:37 am

if the defense “stacks the middle” an UH does not control the LOS — why run multiple plays between the tackles

maybe this was one of the reasons Chow”s offense did not do well
