very surprised Stetson sill ranked. at 2-9, went 0-4 in Hawaii. LMU only getting points.
Maglio-Weaver nominated for weekly honors. went to The Beach.
Hopefully the vball men can at least split in Provo. If they can do that, I really like their chances to host in the mpsf
In the last game neither Rosenmeier (.067) nor Matuatia impressed. It was not a deciding issue against Stanford but it could easily become one against BYU. If the issue recurs I’d go with Parapunov, or even McKellar.
# 2 I had the same thought but I am not sure about Parapunov’s passing. Passing from that position may be more important than hitting considering the firepower from the rest of the team.
Parapunov is left-handed. There’s almost zero change he’d be used outside. A lefty outside is a rarity.
It’ll be Van Tilburg if Wade decides to tinker with the lineup next season and get both in the lineup.
Unfair to judge Matautia on the Saturday’s play. He got in for the last part of the second set and didn’t get set at all. Would like to see him come in sooner, when the Warriors are up a lot, and give Fey a break. Matautia needs the reps for next year.
Fey has been so impressive this year. Honestly, at the beginning of the year, I thought he was 3rd or 4th on the depth chart at OH, but his steady play has been such a force for the Warriors. He has also shown consistent power on the outside. He has proved me wrong.

new thread up for Tuesday.
both Parapunov and McKellar are lefties.
4. as you mentioned, the move would be for van Tilburg to go left and Parapunov as Opp. but that was a bit of a disaster the second night against Long Beach State.
1. lots of vb still to play and I think BYU is in the driver’s seat. They host both Hawaii and Long Beach State over the next few weeks. it will be an interesting month.
