Outrigger 17’s just won Gold at USA Volleyball Junior Nationals. Beat some really good teams with talented rosters. 6’4″ OH Jon Stanley jr. (Kaiser) was named MVP and had a great tourney. Also making all tourney was the setter Saffery, 6’4″ MB Cole Hogland (Iolani), and libero Shea Suzumoto (Punahou). Stanley is of course son of Jon Sr. and brother of Clay. He was on fire the whole tourney and Cole just pounded some teams.

What’s Emily Hartong up to? Thought she’d end up on the NT at some point.

According to a poster on VolleyTalk, the UH Warriors Volleyball team got a 2018 commit in 6’6 OH, Devon Johnson who plays for Bones 17’s & goes to Westlake. There are a few videos on YouTube, but this is the first one I came across…

France wins gold, Brazil silver, Canada bronze…The USA-Canada match fittingly ended on a service error…

Good addition, and probably a walk on , since UH warrriors will have no seniors next season.
    2. I think her passing has kept her from playing for the national team, although Kingdon and Bartsch who are starting now, aren’t that great of passers either and both hit like .220 in college.

    6. Men’s volleyball can split the 4.5 scholarships to as many players as the head coach would like, so the number of seniors wouldn’t necessarily determine if he gets scholarship money or not.
