Also for you Pepsi-Diet Pepsi and Pepsi product lovers. The arena has switched to Coke and Coke products. All the Pepsi-logo refrigerators were removed today.

    1. There is still sanity in the world…lol

Oh…no wonder no more the Pepsi logo on the taraflex. It was there forever and noticed that it was missing this year.

If its true that Coke has taken over then there will be a change from Gatorade to Powerade and no more Sobe and could change over to Vitamin Water and also bye bye to Mountain Dew.

In Hawaii….Pepsi carries Gatorade and Coke have Powerade. Small kind stuff but just to let you know if you one of them loyal Gatorade drinkers.

Good news to hear that Nikki will return this week.

Where did the purple uniforms come from? UH adding a color to the already white, green, black and gray?

Just watched the replay again and that was hard to see Taylor in so much pain. Glad that Nikki appears to be okay. Seem like Greeley also was in some discomfort also. Hang in there Kalei. The shoulder will slowly come around when it is ready. There is nothing you can do except be patient.

We lost a very close match against a very good team. The good news is that the wahines have yet to put forward their best team. The best is clearly yet to come.

Should be a crime to advertise soda, caveat emptor:

    — the phosphoric acid causes excretion of calcium (from the bones) through urine,
    — and the sugar inhibits calcium absorption

    7. But there are neat things you can do with coke:

    My bad.

My wife will be overjoyed at the switch to coke. Now if only we could get the old bentos back…

Chevron is leaving Hawaii in November 2016. So their sponsorship is probably history too.

  12. greenthumb September 13, 2016 7:05 pm

I wondered whether there was any linkage between the sidelines sports drinks & towels and the beverage concessions, and was hoping to see Powerade for sale. Woot, Coke? Bonus!

    5. What purple uniforms?

Who is backing up Nikki? Is it still Kendra? I hope her elbow injury won’t be a recurring problem for her this season.

    Who makes Rootbeer my favorite?

  16. Bleachercoach September 13, 2016 10:18 pm

YES, I love Coca-Cola (COKE) chee hoo!!
Best news of the day!! Only kidding!!
Just got back to watch my God-Child who plays for Maryknoll beat Punahou in 3…
No really dominant team in the ILH this year….Anyone can win on any week!!

  17. Maverick September 13, 2016 11:09 pm

    16. Go Spartans!

  18. ALLAN September 14, 2016 12:47 am

    WANT ROOTBEER.

  19. islandman September 14, 2016 9:35 am

Dasani water from Coca Cola is probably their best product. A 12 ounce can of Coke has carbonated water as mentioned earlier and about 9.3 teaspoons of sugar. Diet coke has either splenda or aspartame. the later a suspect ingredient.

  20. heluhelu September 14, 2016 9:41 am

    Mahalo for Taylor update.

  21. PBnJz September 14, 2016 10:17 am

The Coke switch is the best news I’ve heard all week! No more having to “suicide” the Pepsi products to make the taste bearable!
Similarly, the Golden Road beer they had in place of Gordon Biersch/Stella the first week or so was delicious…sorry it got replaced by GB again.

maybe it’s because i’m old, and my eyes aren’t that good but one thing i noticed at the ssc. the 4 corner banners (ncaa appearances) for wahine basketball and men’s volleyballl & vb – when i walked around the arena i could see the appearance date ok. but when it got to wahine vb, i had trouble making out the years the wahine appeared in the ncaa tourneyment. dates too small for my old eyes

  23. Cindy Luis September 14, 2016 4:19 pm

I’m a Diet Pepsi person so will be saving money at the arena.
