UH looking awesome! On the telecast, at the beginning of the 49er early timeout in set 2, the camera showed Shoji calling over security and a policeman. He seemed to be pointing into the stands. Robyn was standing and watching all this. Hmmmm.

I only see the game tracker and it looks like Tai is struggling again with 6 out of Wahine’s 12 errors with 0 hitting percent.
I would probably start Kastl on set 3

FSW did a nice little story on Shoji. He got asked how much longer. Shoji said it won’t be 10 years but maybe 2 or 3 more. He gave a lot of credit to the fans and the move to the arena as part of the success.

#44. i couldn’t agree more. i was shocked that they kept her in so much. in the third, she definitely looked like she was in a bit of pain. as a coach BG shouldn’t have played her, she looks like she is still nursing that injury. understandably you wanna win against your rival in the conference but BG should think about his players health instead of trying to win the match.
other than that i thought Hawaii did a very decent job at winning this match. taylor continues to impress me.

The announcers said that Hawaii was a great blocking team. Actually, Dave Shoji is quoted as saying Hawaii is a poor blocking team and its national blocking stats show it to be so. However, the block showed up big tonight. Hope this is a harbinger of the future. If Hawaii can improve its blocking significantly, it will definitely be in the running for a national championship this season as Holly McPeak suggests.
