Anyone having trouble viewing the live stream?
“DUE TO BROADCAST RESTRICTIONS, YOU FALL INTO THE BLACKOUT MARKET FOR THIS STREAM. THE LIVE STREAM IS NOT AVAILABLE IN HAWAII. SPECTRUM CUSTOMERS CAN VIEW THIS EVENT AT MYSPECTRUMSPORTS.COM”
I guess hawaii can’t watch.
Big West TV appears to have geo-blocked the stream even though Spectrum is NOT televising tonight’s match. If so then somebody screwed up big time.
Cindy, you said that the broadcast was synched with the standing video. So how could we be excluded if Spectrum Sports isn’t broadcasting on TV tonight? Please explain.
The stream seems to also be blocked for tomorrow night as well
Why have a stream for fans if they can’t watch said stream?
Hint: Google Torproject
I tried to use a ip blocker, still to no avail. I got it, but by using my LTE on my mobile device. Think its the only way, for me at least. Bows up, 10-6 first.
sorry, have no explanation. it should be unblocked.will let UH know.
8. updating match in main box.
9. UH shouldn’t be blocking volleyball matches. That’s a slap in the face of volleyball fans. And this time it’s not only me!
11. No need to start blaming someone when we don’t know for sure. I don’t think it’s UH blocking it. It’s a big west stream.
BTW, the stream is working. So give it another shot.
Same blocking message
Yes it’s working now. Had to clear my internet brower. Thanks Cindy π
Yep, working now. Thanks Cindy!
13. Thanks, Cindy. I still don’t understand why Big West Conference would have blocked the broadcast. It just doesn’t make sense. Did you notify anybody? Or was the blackout fixed on its own?
At the starts its blocking saying ” not in your platform” but when the game starts – I dont have any issue. I am enjoying watching here at Washington DC.
1:37 am here and good Morning.
Boy was Charlie Wade not afraid of dumping out a lot of B-Team players to start.
Max had what presumably would be his best game by far in the green and white jersey. Devon had a solid outing, but I’m sure his growth will come to fruition the more he plays. Alaka’i did good in a short time of participation, Hogland had a good outing, and Chaz and Dimitrios continue to showcase solid contribution with this team. This team’s depth is outstanding, and Charlie is not afraid of showcasing it to the forefront.
That being said, only time will tell when they start getting more and more confident when they played. The only one player who hasn’t gotten any playing time is Kahea Kamalani. I’m surprised that Charlie hasn’t played him yet. Not sure if he’s planning to redshirt this year, but wouldn’t be surprised if that was to happen.
Speaking of which, Cindy…has Milan returned back yet?
19. I had mentioned at the beginning that they were going to go with the “A-plus (or B) tonight.
Milan has been back for weeks. He only missed the last couple of home matches in mid January. He sang the national anthem at the alumni match.
Would not be surprised if Kamalani redshirts. They don’t need him. Why not develop him.
17. i don’t know why it was blocked initially. could have been a computer error on the Big West end. There were some issues with live stats early as well. Also could have been a problem with the synching radio. I was just about to text UH when it cleared up.
Really great to see so many players get into the game. Watching the support the A team gave from the sideline to their A+ teammates was so cool, too. Excited for the future with the A+ guys.
Spectrum responsible for the blocked. Itβs all about the money.
Isn’t A-plus better than A? Shouldn’t the regular starters be A-plus and the second unit be A? Or the second unit be A-minus? This terminology needs some work.
Nice to see all the reserves play. Great game.
Kamalani is redshirting this year. I thought there would be others, but he’s the only one.
Should be a good game tonight.
GO WARRIORS!

Thanks for letting me know, Cindy. The last time I could recall when Zarkovic wasn’t around was when it was proclaimed that the flu bug hit the scene for the team. I think it was either Grand Canyon or Harvard match where Kanoa mentioned that the team was getting hit with the flu roaming on about and the match where Zarkovic wasn’t around. But at least he’s alright now.
22. That’s why UH should negotiated tougher with Spectrum before granting them a contract extension. They should not block people in Hawaii, especially the outer islands from viewing sports. Not everyone can travel that far for matches and not everyone can get cable.
22. do you know that for sure? I believe it was a glitch. Not sure why it would be about money when they weren’t televising it.
23. it’s what they called the second team. better than I guess A-minus?
26. I’m with you about the neighbor islands, especially when Spectrum not available in all areas.
