Warrior Beat: Kitamura joins baseball staff / MBB Tip-Off Event photos
Pi‘ikea Kitamura, a versatile player during his UH career, has joined the Rainbow Warriors’ baseball staff as a volunteer assistant.
Kitamura is a Kamehameha-Kapalama alumnus who was valued at UH as an infielder, backup catcher and leader.
Jerry Kleman, an assistant coach last year, departed the program this summer. Mike Brown was hired to fill a coaching position that was initially vacated when Rusty McNamara and his family decided to move to Italy last year.

It was another successful Tip-Off event for the men’s basketball team.
The capacity crowd filled the Stan Sheriff Center and successfully bid on cool items, such as NCAA Final Four packages, Kobe Bryant-autographed jerseys and a helmet signed by Joe Montana and Dwight Clark (featuring a drawing of “The Catch”).

Hope the pitching arms stay healthy this year.

This is appropriate.
Who needs tix for the UH-Fresno St road football game on Oct 27 sitting with Cole McDonald’s parents & friends on the 40 yard line behind our Warrior bench; so close you can almost touch the players–can’t beat this road game experience! $55 each; or $30 for sideline end zone. Text me 415-324-0585.
Also for SDSU on Nov 24 @$35; our group there is over 200 UH fans now.
Utah state just beat UNLV, 59-24 win. Top of the division Mountain.
Is there a Mandela affect going on here? I just saw Air Force beat UNLV 41-35 and Boise State beat Colorado State 56-28.
Let’s go “O”, Lets go “O”. Shape up or cabbage for the season. Ninth game already, “Counter the Counter”! Adjust quickly and make them relinquish the ball.
Stop Taua, stop puppies
Hawai’i 51 – Nevada 31
Go Bows! Go warriors!
Imua Koa!
On the old ESPNConversations platform, I inadvertently called the Wolf Pack, Wolfpack, causing the blogger to be so disproportionately sarcastic, acting as if a compound word amounted to being a slur. He must really hate North Carolina State.
What I also remember about blogging on ESPN is that there was a tug-o-war over the acronym USC between Southern Cal and South Carolina. Trojan fans would ask Gamecocks Nation to stop stealing their ID.
Oh, and I hope Hawaii wins tonight.
