Hawaii men’s basketball: Graduate manager joining the Spurs
Garrett Jackson, who served as a graduate manager for the Rainbow Warriors this season, has been selected for an internship with the San Antonio Spurs’ video department.
Jackson had multiple roles for the ‘Bows, including video analysis, scouting, recruiting, practice preparation, player development and nutrition coordinator.
UH coach Eran Ganot was an assistant at Saint Mary’s when Jackson was a forward for the Gaels.
Jackson’s departure was announced at the UH banquet yesterday.
It also was revealed Jack Purchase, who was named winner of the Art Woolaway Most Outstanding Player Award, will be playing professionally in Australia. It also appears Brocke Stepteau might get a shot Down Under, too.
