I know it’s tech and there is only so many things we can control, but with the live stats constantly going down, video streams dying, no box scores and now this, it can be quite frustrating for ya fans

  2. Cindy Luis September 1, 2019 3:39 pm

    1. The live stats are down because of the stats software program.
The internet problem is an arena problem.

  3. alexm September 1, 2019 3:44 pm

Will this affect online streaming of the match?

  4. Cindy Luis September 1, 2019 4:37 pm

    3. i don’t know.

  5. islandman September 1, 2019 5:00 pm

The live stats seemed to have worked for SD vs Washington and St John’s vs SD.but not for the UH games.

  6. Cindy Luis September 1, 2019 5:05 pm

    5. They’ve worked for UH matches up to a point. It may be a wireless overload issue where more people in arena for the UH matches. But that’s my lack-of-being-a-tech guess.

Random question Cindy … do you decide what color(s) to wear based on the rearm colors? I notice you wear purple a lot but not when the opponent is a purple team. Mahalo for all you do Cindy!!!

  13. Hauoli September 1, 2019 5:50 pm

    Wow WAHINE!!!

  14. Cindy Luis September 1, 2019 5:50 pm

    11. Haven’t worn purple in a while. my favorite color tho.
I do make a point of trying to stay neutral. I don’t wear a lot of green either.

A big FAN of Wahine and 2:00 am now at NATION’S CAPITAL…. I was static to the performance of AMAZING WAHINE. I was shocked…. I thought WAHINE won’t win even a set because UW’s are to physical and towering ladies especially 9 Samatha Drecshel. She was amazing player way back at U of Maryland days with Angel Gaskin. She was suffocated with blocks left and right with any of WAHINE LADIES. Great Job.
Praying that all Wahine Players will be healthy for the entire season. COACHES @ PLAYERS EXCELLENT JOB. good morning.

  22. T103 September 1, 2019 8:15 pm

WOW WOW WOW! I’m pleasantly surprised. It would seem that Washington was the ones who played 5 set matches two days in a row not the other way around. Probably not how Washington usually plays but I’ll take a win. very happy for the girls! We just need to work on our passing, and our gel-ing as a team!

  23. H-Man September 1, 2019 8:39 pm

I was at the SSC to enjoy this win. Simply awesome; great experience. For those who normally catch it on TV, make it a point to see a match at the SSC.

  24. Astroboy September 1, 2019 8:40 pm

Ok, I will admit that the crazy libero-less system actually seems to be working! I was pretty skeptical at first.

  25. islandman September 1, 2019 8:46 pm

    The blocking was unbelievable .

  26. Cindy Luis September 1, 2019 8:50 pm

    20. it’s in the main box

  27. tongo September 1, 2019 9:44 pm

Riley Wagoner did a great job of directing traffic acting as the defacto “libero”, as well as hitting and blocking. What a terrific player and leader for a young freshman in her 3rd match – very impressive.

  28. islandman September 1, 2019 9:57 pm

They had 15 , 16 and 18 blocks in their three matches so far. Last season, they had 13 once and 12 each in two other matches.

  29. menehune September 2, 2019 2:57 am

A magical weekend for Coach Robyn and her staff. Blocking coach Angelica deserve much of the credit for the Wahine putting up insane numbers for the three matches as the players execution were almost flawless. Every player on the team deserve credit for the wins, be they starters or subs. Loved it when Coach Robyn, in one of her interviews, in so many words said, “do it my way or the highway.”
    LET’S GO BOWS.
