Senior Morgan Martin and sophomore Pani Napoleon matched their seed with their finish as Hawaii’s Flight-1 duo won Sunday’s exhibition pairs beach volleyball tournament at Queen’s Beach.
Martin and Napoleon defeated Rainbow Wahine teammates Julia Scoles, a senior, and freshman Ilihia Huddleston 21-17, 25-23 in the all-SandBows final. Scoles and Huddleston were seeded No. 2 in the 16-pairs event that had duos from host Hawaii and USC, last year’s NCAA runner-up.
