Warriors move ahead from “devil loss”
UCLA game?
What UCLA game?
Following the UCLA game, seven assistant coaches remained on the mainland to recruit. They returned Wednesday, and by yesterday evening they had pored over every image of that game’s video.
“I expunged that devil loss from their brains this morning before practice,” head coach Nick Rolovich said of the meeting with players.
The Warriors devoted today’s 2-hour practice to working against Wyoming’s offensive and defensive concepts. The Warriors have a bye this weekend ahead of the Sept. 23 game in Laramie. Wyoming plays host to Oregon tomorrow.
At the end of practice, the players who competed in yesterday’s Scout Bowl went to the weight room to train. The other players ran a series of sprints. The Warriors will need their stamina when they play in Laramie’s 7,200-foot elevation.
Ekahi……aloha Friday everybody!!!!
I’ll be tuned in to Wyoming’s game versus Oregon tomorrow. Their game against Gardner-Webb did not reveal too much. Noticed that Boise State is starting a new QB. Rypien manning the headsets. BSU seems to be running a read option like Hawaii, but is focused on the QB keep. I wonder if Warriors might not want to do the same.
If you need conditioning at high elevation, come Big Island. We got plenty mountains to climb! Work hard and good luck!
I have the Tsai-kp Away Game listing restored. Please post or email me if you plan to attend any UH football road games this year and maybe meet other Tsai-kos. Please provide whatever logistical info you can. See:

Also, tom-warriornation has been added to the sai-ko Hall of Fame for his efforts in obtaining good location tickets for many of the UH football road games over the years.

Rypien was held out due to the concussion protocol – he was injured in the Washington State game. The QB who played is a grad transfer from Kansas. They have 4 QBs on their roster, and they are true frosh (one may be a walkon). Depth at QB is obviously an issue for Boise State this year.
I should have proofread before posting. The two QBs other than Rypien and Cozart (the KU grad transfer) are true frosh.
Duster, thank you for correcting me. Cozart did look good in Wyoming game. Maybe they will stick with him.
Mr. Boolakanka, in the age of “Moneyball”, Greg Oniate would definitely have gotten his shot. It is a minor tragedy that he went undrafted. (I’m telling you something you already know. This is purely rhetorical.)
Oniate is about the same height as Isaac Omura, whom the Athletics drafted in the 17th round(2005).
I am slightly too young to be fully cognizant of his playing days; I’m just going by statistics from media guides and listening to how Jim Leahy and Pal Eldridge described Oniate on old K5 broadcasts.
Howzit Tsaikos!

Great Morning All!
Mrs. A-house,
Hail McKinley. Hail!
Das it
So the Cowboys take on the Ducks today. Hoping for a very physical game by the Ducks-Crimson Tide has the CSU Rams. A week off right now is great for us and tough opponents is great for them!!! Watched UMass lose a game they should have won against Temple last night missed FG’s (3 of them) and squandered opportunity all night! Illinois and USF were on a record setting pace for penalties! Illinois is absolutely terrible-GoWarriors!!!!
What is the difference between Memphis and UH?
Size? Speed? Desire?
Air Force showing an amazing performance at Michigan.
Memphis has had solid recruiting the last couple years with plenty of 3* and some 4* players.
Anthony miller is a next level receiver.
