Kahuku safety signs with Warriors
Kahuku High defensive back Nalu Emerson has signed with the Warriors. Here are the details:
> Emerson is 6-1 and 205 pounds.
> He graduates from Kahuku in May.
> He was named to your favorite newspaper’s 2018 All-State third team.
> He projects to compete at safety for the Warriors as player who can play in coverage or mix it up in the box.
> “Choosing Hawaii was a no-brainer for me,” Emerson said. “Honestly, I feel they’re on the come-up. I wanted to be a part of it.”
> He trains with UH quarterback Cole McDonald.

From the cit of lights. Good morning tsaikos
“I wanted to be a part of it”. I think this mindset will affect all programs at UH soon. Even enrolment. Terrific.
Morning Whitey
Nice pick up! Aloha Stephen and Whitey!
Is he a greyshirt?
Any insight on why the signing was so delayed? Was he thing about another school?
Why the late signing? Was he a late qualifier?
Be happy he signed. Geez.
I’m very impatient in my old age.
6-1/205…he might end up playing linebacker, just as Scheyenne Sanitoa has. Any case, good get.
Another solid local pickup
Hope more local boys decide to stay home.
ST, who’d’ve thought that your photography, rather than your phraseology, would cause such a war, huh? Truly sad to see.
Welcome, Nalu! The latest in a long line of Kahuku DBs starring for the Warriors.
Very nice. Thanks for making the Warriors your first choice!
THIS GUY IS SMART; HE GETS IT. LATER ON, WHEN GUYS WHO DID NOT CHOOSE HAWAII WHAEN THEY HAD THE CHANCE, BUT WANT TO COME BACK, THEY MAY FIND THAT HAWAII HAS MADE PLANS THAT DO NOT INCLUDE THEM; OR THAT THEY ARE SO BUSS-UP FROM DA ODDA SCHOOLS’ TRAINING REGIMEN THAT THEY NO CAN MAKE DA TEAM AND WIND UP TAKING MEDICAL RETIREMENT.
Is this walk-on or scholarship? Wondering if there was any big fish left uncaught and if we have any more schollys to give. The other signing opportunities are coming up, it may have been a now or never kinda deal.
“They’re on the come up”. “I wanted to be a part of it”. I think all programs will get a higher level of interest soon. Even enrollment. Terrific.
Got this email recently from Rolo:
Tom,
I wanted to take a moment and thank you for spearheading the creation and consistent monitoring of the Warrior Nation account. The current funds will go towards supplementing our recruiting budget. With the addition of a 10th coach by the NCAA, we saw the impact on multiple budget lines, but none greater than in recruiting. Also, the impact you make with our away crowd is fantastic. This team has a special feeling about it, excited to see what we are during spring ball. I hope all is well with you and all of our Warrior faithful. Hope you and your crew enjoyed the SJSU post game festivities in the stands! Look forward to talking again soon.

Can you help me reach my goal by making a $25 donation to the UH Foundation Fund I created for UH Football recruiting–see below link.
If 2000 fans do this, we will raise $50,000. So far, I got 751 donors ($18,775), so only 1249 more donors to go!
After donating, text me your name to 415-324-0585 or email your receipt to: tomkitaguchi@yahoo.com.
Mahalo, and pls share this with all of your fellow fans.

#16 Tom –
I echo Coach Rolo’s sentiments. Thank you for all you do for UH football. Attending a UH road game is on my bucket list. I hope to see you at one of them when I finally make it.
