Going Green again
Former UH running back Alex Green is set to rejoin the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL.
“He was in camp with us,” said June Jones, who had joined the Tiger-Cats a month ago as offensive coordinator and was promoted to head coach soon after. “I said, ‘sign him back. I think he already knows what we’re doing and everything.'”
Jones said there is a possibility Green might be activated for this weekend’s game against Saskatchewan.
This will be the first time Jones has coached Green, who signed with UH in 2009. Jones’ last UH season was 2007. But Jones has followed Green’s career, saying, “I totally liked him. He’s one of those perfect backs for us.”

Tomorrow’s “Scout Bowl” begins at 8 a.m. and is open to the public.
Go Green! 🙂
* * * OOOOH, newsflash right now, 7:50am-ish, on Bobby Curran’s morning ESPN 1420 AM show, Rich Miano be tellin’ Mr. Curran’ ’bout Mr. Tsai‘s early flight to game! Talkin’ ’bout how a Mr. Tsai opinions and other expressions be based on watching replay!!!!
Rich is misinformed.
Of course, I’ll be there for the whole game and the post-game interviews.
The early flight jjust means there’s a 50-50 chance I might not be able to shower before I board the plane. OK, maybe that will be a problem.
Guud Morning Tsaikos…Bootiful Day!
Good news about Alex. Always felt he should be in the NFL but…
Anyhoo, JJ knows it’s good to Go Green!

Now that’s a lot of green!
When I was a tourguide/busdriver for Roberts Hawaii, I used to tell all the tourists “Keep Hawaii green, spend a lot of money!”.
Great news about AG! Happy he and JJ will be back together! AG really wanted to keep playing and this is his shot!

Please reread ST’s post.
Your welcome in advance.
What does Bobby mean he won’t check into or need a hotel ? Something about the return home flight after the game. How about before the game ?
RE: #3
Perhaps one of your post-game interviews could be in the UH locker room? I’m sure they’ll spare you a towel. 🙂
Thanks al!

Tsai, as a warrior, have you never taken a bath out of a helmet?
It is a bit of a squeeze, but in the airplane rest room, you can at least sponge down your arm pits. 🙂
Chris Posa, our best OLineman, and Dejon Allen named to PFF’s MWC offense of the week.

Rolo giving out a scholie at WWE is epic
Would like to see Isaiah Bernard play over Collie, even Stubblefield. Forget who’s better in practice, we need someone with sure hands in a real game.
Won’t be surprised at a little shuffling with the OL. I observed Chris Posa and his performance this past week, Coach Rolovich also stated it on his show-Fred will be back and quite honestly he has done just fine in his role there-the question might be what if they swap spots? We’ll see. Dejon is still the best we have with Wa’a and Eli doing just fine. Got to cleanup up the penalties with this unit but right now they are a formidable front-
Great Morning All!
Still in LalaLand. Peeps here have moved on from last weekend’s game.
Good idea.
Das it
Mr. Tsai, tell Mr. Miano that you ain’t runnin’ a carnival when you go reportin’ 👀🤡
Don’t you work? Scout team? I can’t make it. Sorry!
Alex Green was a former Warrior. How tall is Jon Veneri anyway?
On the Wyoming game the following weekend, Hawai’i and Wyoming are almost even in wins and losses against each other. But Wyoming is favored in the game. By how much? Probably by +10 points and not more.
is the Paniolo Trophy up for grabs next week?
UH must pack it with all their equipment.
I neva wanted to go to a Wyoming game until a fellow traveler mentioned side trips to Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse monument.
ESPN is the big donkey in televising games and appears UH/Wyoming lost with an 8:15 pm start time – hope UH does not have to catch an early flight like ST.
18. Hunter Hughes gets a scholarship.
November 18, 1978 Honolulu, HI vs. Wyoming, first meeting. (22) Wyoming leads 13-9. Score in 1978, 27 Hawai’i and 22 Wyoming. Hawai’i has 2 three game winning streaks. While Wyoming has a 6 game winning streak. Last meeting was in 2014. 38-28 Hawai’i won that match up in Laramie, Wyoming.
As it stands…A + 10 points for Wyoming before game time.
Thank you Sausage McMuffin with Eggs. On how to write a game analysis. Make sure you read it correctly. On Wyoming match up on September 23, 2017.
