Football-baseball merger
In a football-baseball mashup, Nick Rolovich is hosting a gathering in the Bud Light Bullpen at tonight’s UH-Seton Hall game at Les Murakami Stadium.
Rolovich made the winning bid during the Pigskin Pigout. The list of invitees includes coaches, trainers, equipment managers and maintenance workers.
The heckling should be unique.

Today marked the end of mini camp, the first three days of the Warriors’ spring football training. The Warriors resume practicing on Tuesday, April 3, following UH’s spring break next week.

During the three practices, all of this fall’s UH quarterbacks made an appearance. In addition to the spring QBS (Cole McDonald, Jeremy Moussa, Kyle Gallup and Justin Uahinui), two-sport passer Larry Tuileta worked out yesterday.
Kolney Cassel, who has played at SMU and Sacramento State, is making an unofficial visit. Cassel is walking on as a graduate transfer this summer.
And Saint Louis standout Chevan Cordeiro and his father were among today’s spectators.

They’re still mixing and matching on the o-line, but a nice combo is: LT Asotui Eli, LG JR Hensley, C Taaga Tuulima, RG Emil Graves, RT Micah Vanterpool.

Fred Ulu-Perry, who accepted a medical retirement, has been lending support at practices. He said he is on track to graduation in a few semesters.

Wideout Eric Rooks is among the young receivers making an impression.

Good pictures, from so early in the morning.
🏈 How you make the pictures or icons ?
I sure would hope Tuileta showed up for practice. I mean he’s on a football scholarship and fighting to be the leader of the offense.
Go Bows! 🌈⚾🏈
Great Afternoon All!
Maybe a new tradition in Manoa? A modern day version of Ragger’s Rail in Paradise?
Pity the oppo Pirate Right Fielder. 😯
I really liked Ulu Perry’s tenacity on the field. Strong, versatile, technically sound and henhad that mean pit bull mentality. Glad to read that he’s going to graduate and what a display of character to still help out. Wishing him the best as he moves on!
Pitching and defense didn’t hold up in tonight’s game.
I like the OL coach philosophy — how can you scold a player if you have not taught him the correct movement, technique? “It’s my job to teach”!
reminds me of Mr. Holland’s Opus where the band teacher is complaining to the music teacher that the football star cannot learn how to play the base drum — Mr. Holland’s response is the student did not fail — you failed to teach him how to play the drum.
rained all night in the valley — steady drizzling rain — now, lots of low, dark clouds, but no rain and wind
kinda like being in Seattle or Hilo where no sun shine for weeks and months — just rain!!!
Just wait and see some talent get developed from OL this spring-I know the group won’t be complete till fall but something tells me a few unknowns will emerge. I think when season opens we may have more depth than the past couple of years-GoWarriors!!
has an entire baseball series ever been rained out? lets play 4 tomorrow.
It’s always been the ..next man up. Question is who will step up? Exciting time of the year where we get to see the ones who want the job and are willing to go the extra mile to get the job done.
Warriors will compete. They will not give up..they never have….IMUA!
