“Final” test
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. β I know I use “final” often, but today’s workout at American International College was the final preseason session ahead of tomorrow’s opener at UMass.
Arriving in New England with three days of lead time has helped the Warriors acclimate to the time change.
The extra time also has allowed Al Ginoza, who was promoted to head equipment manager this year after years of being top assistant to β¦ nobody, and volunteer Shay Yanagi to prepare the Warriors’ white helmets. For today’s game, each player will have his number on the back of his helmet.

My only prediction is if St. Juste and his crew play well, Dru Brown will pick UMass apart.
Anyone know the depth chart?

Depth Chart and Roster.
A little birdie told me that the defense will be raging bulls. The offense will need two possessions to get untracked. Our team will make fools of the oddsmakers.
Hawaii 42
UMass 28
Maybe this was mentioned on another day, but there is a Football Happiness Index on ESPN.com. Hawaii is ranked #85.

Nice find DLM! Curious that he’s a 2017 grad but is a 2018 commit.

Looks like he was a 2017 graduate. Maybe a future Unga replacement at TE?

How about promoting Gwen, who has been Assistant Band Director for, i think, quite a while now.

Getting ready for kick off-my wife went to work with her Na Koa shirt as she prepares for the game later today. Very anxious for the winning season to begin.
On another note the most recent commit from De La Salle High School-Rook. Chicago area and Illinois has a bevy of talent that we might be able to snag. The area abounds with big guys who go Big 10 Mac and many other conferences. Not out of the question we might tap a couple a year. I coached and played in the conference Rook is from and even though it’s been some time I still have connections and friends who coach at many of these schools…..hope we get a few more!
