3 former Warriors participating in Spring League

Three former Warriors — inside linebacker Simon Poti, outside linebacker Makani Kema-Kaleiwahea and running back Paul Harris — are participating in Spring League 2018, a two-week showcase in Austin, Texas.

More than 120 players are divided into four teams, with games scheduled for April 7 and April 12.

Poti said scouts from pro teams have been attending practices. Poti said the second practice was completed today. He said they put on pads for the next practice on Monday.

Two other noteworthy players are participating — tight end Kellen Winslow Jr., whose father is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and quarterback Johnny Manziel.

    Great Afternoon All!

    Wow!

Never heard of this Spring League.
Is it sponsored by the NFL? Is it paid? How much? TV?

The UH baseball team scored two TD’s and held UCI to a safety. The outfield can really fly.
However, in 2016 UH started conference play going 6-1, but ended up 12-12.

    8.

    I work on Saturdays.

I turned on the car radio and Hawaii was up 8-1 going to the bottom half of the fifth.

I thought: No way are they going to blow this.

    Put on Devo’s “New Traditionalists”.

Yesterday, I was struggling with the idea that Coach Trapasso sent his freshman pitcher back on the mound after a particularly tough inning. You could foresee that things were not going to pan out.
