Salter out for road trip // Tinnin note
Junior point guard Anthony Salter will not accompany the Rainbow Warriors on their two-game road trip against Cal Poly and No. 23 BYU.
UH coach Gib Arnold confirmed Salter would not go late last night. The junior college transfer missed practices on Friday and Saturday because of personal issues.
The team leaves late tonight for Los Angeles, then buses up to San Luis Obispo early tomorrow morning for Wednesday’s game at CP-SLO.

The UH women’s basketball team (4-1) is about to tip off against No. 14 North Carolina.
A note about senior guard Megan Tinnin, who broke Nani Cockett’s career 3-point record last night against Ole Miss. Tinnin now has the career records for 3s made (129) and attempted (396), single-season records for 3s made (55) and attempted (176) and single-game records for 3s made (six) and attempted (14).
come on anthony…you need to wake up and smell the roses. your time is now and it only comes once.
I have a feeling he may leave UH.. His production level isn’t what he expected but hey..just because your not feeling it on the court, don’t bounce.. you can learn tremendously off the court.. IF HE WANTS TO LEAVE, THEN LEAVE!!!
BMC, are these “personal” issues something that we should be “reading” into?
Dwain Williams had personal issues and we all know how that turned up.
Is Salter upset about playing time?
Please. No drama yet. The season is just starting. I’m loving the honeymoon so far. Please, no drama.
BIK
I don’t think that’s it Mist. Haven’t had a chance to talk to him yet, so we’ll see.
BB,
I don’t think it’s similar. Arnold isn’t upset with him at all. Hope to talk to him soon about it.
We’re going to need Salt during the conference season… hopefully he’s getting better!?!?
Great One…
I must say, its worth it! My link!http://shannon071.livejournal.com/802.html ,thanks haha…
