Hawaii basketball: Rainbow Warriors, Wahine get in 2019-20 media day
Thursday was the annual media day for the Hawaii men’s and women’s basketball teams.
All Rainbow Warriors and Rainbow Wahine players and coaches got together for team photos and the Rainbow Warriors’ players broke away for individual and group shots and interviews.
The Rainbow Wahine held their first full practice on Wednesday. The Rainbow Warriors get going on Saturday.
The UH men, under fifth-year coach Eran Ganot, open their season Nov. 8 vs. Florida A&M in the Rainbow Classic. The UH women, under eighth-year coach Laura Beeman, open their season Nov. 5 at home against San Diego State.

Short shorts are making a comeback
Hoping for some talent upgrades in both programs this season.
Would like to see a development of depth on both benches, Side A / Side B teams

I don’t like those short shorts at all. Not pleasing to the eye. If your’re a skinny guy with thin thighs it looks a little better, but to me it looks great if the length of the shorts is about 1 to 2 inches above the knees. I am very fashion conscious and if it was me I wouldn’t buy these new shorts for anything. They are terrible. That’s my opinion.

Derek and Na Alii Pride, my suggestion is to wear compression shorts under those short shorts.
