University of Hawaii fans could probably use a version of Disney’s “Park Hopper” pass to keep up with the action on the lower campus this week. Rainbow Wahine third baseman Nicole Lopez was named the Big West softball field player of the week on Monday and pitcher Izzy Dino earned the freshman of the week award. Lopez hit .552 (12-for-23) in seven games last week and closed the weekend by hitting two two-run home runs in a 7-2 win over Canisius on Sunday. The action comes fast and furious for the Hawaii softball team this week. Given the way the Rainbow Wahine have started 2019, that’s just fine for them.
