Last season’s Hawaii soccer team set plenty of milestones during its nonconference season, in which it went 7-1-1. By going 2-0 through the season-opening Ohana Outrigger Resorts Shootout, the 2017 Rainbow Wahine are, for now, keeping the pace. The last time they were 2-0 was 2007, which makes sense when you consider that was the last season they won their season opener, until Friday’s win over Utah Valley.
