Freshman opposite Filip Humler put down a career-high 10 kills with just one error and No. 2 Hawaii swept host Queens 25-13, 25-17, 25-16 in today’s nonconference men’s volleyball match at Charlotte, N.C. Congrats to G. Worsley, DPOW; Hawaii stays at No. 2

Gage Worsley earned his first career Big West Defensive Player of the Week award on Monday. The sophomore libero averaged 3.00 digs per set in the home series sweep of No. 8 Stanford. Worsley had a match-high 11 digs in the opener, a 25-15, 27-25, 25-22 win. He had seven digs in the 25-15, 25-18, 25-16 victory on Sunday.
