By Brian McInnis on September 12, 2017

The Hawaii basketball team hopes to parlay last preseason’s successful season tip-off fundraiser, a debut for its kind, into an annual shindig. By Brian McInnis on August 21, 2017

When Hawaii released its full 2017-18 men’s basketball schedule today, there were only a few (four, to be exact) games that hadn’t been announced or reported anywhere. G’day Mate

By Brian McInnis on July 15, 2017

Mate Colina is a potentially big get for the ‘Bows, if one that will pay dividends later rather than sooner. UH edged out a mainstay for Australian imports — Saint Mary’s — to secure Colina’s services.

Back in business, offseason edition

By Brian McInnis on June 30, 2017

Hey Hawaii basketball fans, I figured it’s time to dip back into the realm of basketball blogging. In recent weeks I had to take a leave of absence for family reasons. But I’m back now! (At least in a limited capacity.) First and foremost, today was a momentous day in the UH basketball office. Team secretary Bobbie Omoto retired after 20-plus years with the athletics department, helping men’s basketball specifically. Bobbie was a constant through numerous regime changes and hundreds […]
