As mentioned a while ago (courtesy of the Longhorns): Hawaii is hosting Texas on Friday, March 22. That’s preceded by a scrimmage in Hilo and the Pepperdine tournament in Malibu. Tita Akiu is leaving tonight for the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. She is one of 45 liberos competing for a spot on one of the U.S. national and collegiate national teams. “I’m really excited,” she told me this morning. “A goal is to play overseas.
