Three former UH basketball players — Sheriff Drammeh, Brocke Stepteau and Jack Purchase — earned degrees today and are ready for the next phase of their lives. Drammeh has reached an agreement with a sports agency in Europe and is expected to play professionally over there. UH relief pitcher Dylan Thomas has cut his hair in support of third baseman Ethan Lopez‘s father. As KHON sports director Rob DeMello first reported last week, Fernando Lopez is battling cancer. Before departing on the recent road trip, Ethan Lopez cut the hair he had been growing for 18 months in support of his father. He donated his hair to Locks of Love, which benefits children undergoing cancer treatment. Thomas decided to also show support, cutting his recognizable long […]
