Cornerback Eugene Ford made two interceptions — a pick-6 and an end-zone grab at the end of the second overtime —in the scrimmage-like session. Brennan had been hospitalized for several months because of a blood clot in his spine. But he appears to be healthier. And the young Warriors, many of whom are at UH because they watched Brennan and company, were happy to meet the 2007 Heisman finalist.

He completed a 56-yard pass to JoJo Ward to set up a 17-yard TD strike to a leaping Devan Stubblefield. “In the huddle, they were expecting the ball coming my way,” Ward recalled. “We had a connection coming my way.” In the past […]

Practice No. 4

By Stephen Tsai on July 31, 2018

Stop right there. The Warriors used three quarterbacks in the team session. But the order (Jeremy Moussa, Chevan Cordeiro and then Cole McDonald) and the rotation number are not a reflection of the depth chart or separation. Nick Rolovich said no decision has been reached on a pecking order. All the quarterbacks remain in the running. * * * * * After years of instability, UH installed concrete bases for the video lifts. Here’s a recent photo gallery from camp. […]
