Cindy Luis covers University of Hawaii volleyball for the Star-Advertiser. She began her career as a sports journalist in Hawaii in 1981 with the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and was the sports editor, assistant sports editor, columnist and beat writer during a 31-year span before the paper became the Star-Advertiser. She graduated from UCLA in 1977 with a B.A. in Communication Studies.

A little slow at the moment. things will pick up soon. Wahine indoor team had its first workout Tuesday 6:30 a.m. The players who are doubling with beach then came back for 3 p.m. practice on the same. Long day for them and Jeff Hall. Hall said that there likely to be three spring exhibitions in the SSC but they were still working out the logistics. didn’t want to mention the schools until it is confirmed. Baxter officially named, Warriors stay at No. 5
