Offensive lineman Solo Vaipulu of Centennial High (Corona, Calif.) told the Honolulu Star-Advertiser he has accepted a football scholarship from the Warriors. Manase Time, a highly recommended safety from Golden West College (Huntington Beach, Calif.), has accepted a UH scholarship offer. Time is 6 feet and 205 pounds. He will have three years to play three UH seasons. One of the state’s top players — Aaron Faumui of Kapolei High — told the Star-Advertiser he has accepted a scholarship from the Warriors. Faumui cited the Warriors’ “family” atmosphere as a large factor in his decision. He also received offers from Virginia, Florida, Wisconsin and Oregon. Faumui played on both sides of the line. UH’s pro day is set for March 20 on the Azusa Pacific University and Citrus College campuses. The meetings, interviews, measurements and weightlifting disciplines will be at the APU facilities.
