One of the state’s top defensive backs — Tiger Peterson of Kamehameha Schools-Kapalama — told the Honolulu Star-Advertiser he has accepted a scholarship offer from the Warriors. Sports anchor/reporter Taryn Hatcher is leaving Hawaii News Now after three years. Hatcher will announce her future plans after they are finalized this week. “We knew when we hired her right out of Rutgers University at the ripe old age of 22, that she was just at the outset of what promised to be a great career,” HNN general manager Rick Blangiardi said. “Her first three years with us have been terrific”
