The recruiting “dead period” ended this past midnight, and the UH coaches are hitting the road for home visits. It’s a two-part plan: 1) Secure the players who already pledged, and 2) Get new commits. The first of three recruiting weekends begins tomorrow.

Jeff Hall, a good coach and a great guy, is moving two offices down in switching from associate head coach for men’s volleyball to associate HC for women’s volleyball and head coach of the sand volleyball team. “It’s bittersweet,” said Hall, who had a role in recruiting every player on the Warriors’ roster. DALLAS — Sorry for the infrequent and brief posts, but it’s been a crazy morning. It started at 8:30 a.m. (4:30 Hawaii time) with the Oregon interview session on an indoor football field in the Dallas Convention Center.
