It will be a hectic weekend for the Warriors, who will host a couple recruits. The Warriors’ wish is to sign mid-academic-year transfers on Thursday, the first day of the signing period for JC players seeking to enroll in January. Sunday also is the final day (of this recruiting period) for coaches to conduct home visits with high school prospects. Zak Hill, Eastern Washington’s passing-game coordinator, has been hired as the Warriors’ offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. All signs point to offensive lineman Fred Ulu-Perry joining the Warriors, according to people familiar with the situation. Ulu-Perry was granted a conditional release from his UCLA scholarship, opening the way for him to transfer to UH. He left the Bruins two weeks ago.
