The UH and Michigan football teams will be opponents on Sept. 3 in Ann Arbor. But next month, they will be partners, serving as co-hosts to a June 26 football camp on the Saint Louis School campus. Since the 1980s, California has endured cutbacks in after-school, extra-curricular programs. The LEMO Foundation has helped fill the void, providing an encompassing program (academics, athletics, life skills) for Northern California youths from at-risk or under-funded situations. Defensive lineman Zeno Choi, who just completed his first academic year at UH, has shown a willingness — and ability — to fill a role. The past season, he relinquished a redshirt year to step into the short-handed defensive rotation. This past spring, he played nose tackle and 3-technique.
