UH, Michigan to co-host football camp

The UH and Michigan football teams will be opponents on Sept. 3 in Ann Arbor. But next month, they will be partners, serving as co-hosts to a June 26 football camp on the Saint Louis School campus. The Warrior and Wolverine coaching staffs will serve as instructors. The Saint Louis coaches also will be involved in the one-day program. Registration fees and itinerary will be announced later. UH football: Riding LEMO to graduation

Since the 1980s, California has endured cutbacks in after-school, extra-curricular programs. The LEMO Foundation has helped fill the void, providing an encompassing program (academics, athletics, life skills) for Northern California youths from at-risk or under-funded situations. Defensive lineman Zeno Choi, who just completed his first academic year at UH, has shown a willingness — and ability — to fill a role. The past season, he relinquished a redshirt year to step into the short-handed defensive rotation. This past spring, he played nose tackle and 3-technique. As the UH’s director of football administration for four years, Jones arrived before the sunrise, left after the green flash, and did most of the non-coaching chores necessary to a football operation. Defensive tackles Kennedy Tulimasealii and Ka‘aumoana Gifford entered not-guilty pleas in District Court this morning. Here’s the skinny: Kennedy Tulimasealii > Action: Tulimasealii pleaded not guilty two charges of assault, one charge of resisting arrest, and one charge of harassment stemming from an incident with his ex-girlfriend on April 12.
