Congrats to Hawaii outside hitter Chaz Galloway, named Freshman of the Week by the Big West. In his first two career starts, Galloway helped the Rainbow Warriors sweep Lincoln Memorial and King on the road with .667 hitting, putting away 13 kills with one error in 18 attempts. The annual alumni match is at 7 p.m. Friday at the Stan Sheriff Center. Free admission. Doors open at 6 p.m. Skills challenges start at 6:15 p.m. At Sunday’s 10th A’o a Koa Scholarship Fundraiser, former Rainbow Warrior Kai Kahele will receive the Pae Makaukau Recognition Award.
