The second-ranked U.S. men’s national team, with three players with Hawaii ties in the starting lineup, rallied past Serbia 15-25, 25-14, 21-25, 25-20, 15-10, in the opening pool-play match Wednesday of the FIVB World Championship in Bari, Italy. Some have speculated about the UH women’s volleyball matches being cancelled this week. Olivia is still a tropical storm but expect rain and winds. As far as we know, the matches vs. Oregon (Thursday and Friday) are still on. UH campus is still open.
