Hawaii RPI up to 55

The Rainbow Wahine are up six spots in the latest NCAA RPI report to their highest mark of the season. UH is up to 55, right behind Tuesday’s opponent Pepperdine (54, down 1). For the complete listing click here. The only conference team with higher RPI than Hawaii is No. 16 Cal Poly (remains at 22). UC Irvine plummeted to 80, down 22. Condolences to Goods-Fernandez ohana, please share your stories of Cia

It is with great sadness that I pass this along. Former Wahine Cia Goods-Fernandez passed away tonight on Maui after a lengthy battle with lung cancer. Goods played for the Wahine in ’93, 95-97. She was a teammate of three of the current Wahine staff: Robyn Ah Mow-Santos (1993-96), Angelica Ljungqvist (1993-96) and Aven Lee (1996-97, 99-00). Goods was the 1997 WAC Player of the Year-Pacific Division and AVCA all-region. She is in the UH record books in a couple […]

Wahine banquet Nov. 18, Cal Poly sweeps UCI

The annual team banquet is Sunday, Nov. 18, at the Ala Moana Hotel, Hibiscus Ballroom. Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m. with the buffet dinner and program at 6 p.m. Looks like Natasha Burns has gotten her paperwork in to graduate so she will be among seven seniors honored.
