Opposite attacker Rado Parapunov and libero Gage Worsley today were named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association’s All-America first team.

It is the second year in a row Parapunov has reached the recognition. In the recently abbreviated season, Parapunov averaged 4.47 kills and 5.28 points per set. Earlier, he was named the Big West’s Player of the Year.

Worsley averaged 2.1 digs per set.

Left-side hitter Colton Cowell and middle blocker Patrick Gasman were named to the second team.

The Rainbow Warriors were 15-1 and ranked No. 2 nationally when the rest of the season was canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Is there any senior this year that has been selected to be an All-American for four years? Just wondering if there could be a one time only 5-time All-American.
