I can see Skyler Williams or Amber Igiede following in this player’s footsteps, if given the chance. Hawaii may consider going middle dominant (which is their strength).
AVCA Player of the Week: Chichi Ikwuazom, MB, 6’1″, Columbia.
“Ikwuazom continued her dominate start to the 2019 season with 81 kills over Columbia’s three straight wins on three straight nights this past week.
She tied her career-high with second 29 kill performance in a week against San Jose State in the Lions 3-2 win and hit .521 with 28 kills against LIU in Columba’s five-set comeback win.
The weekend began with Ikwuazom ripping off 24 kills, while hitting .420 in Columbia’s first win of the weekend, 3-1 over Fordham and she averaged 5.79 kills per set and 6.21 points per set over the three matches while hitting .470.
Nationally, Ikwuazom is second in the country in kills per set (5.89), fourth in points per set (6.42), fifth in hitting percentage (.476), ninth in total points (231.0) and 11th total kills (212).”
WSU def. UW 3-1…
…and USC-UCLA going five…
UCLA won in 5…Up & down night for UH’s RPI…
Off topic but I hope Robyn is going after the sophomore OH from Kamehameha, she reminds me of a young Lily K.

5. Hawaii is looking for the best players who fit into the program, regardless of where they’re at. I’m sure she’s on the radar.
But as has been said, just because Hawaii wants you doesn’t mean you want Hawaii. Same with scheduling.
Ab gaming has the Baylor/UH game on youtube.
Unfortunately for RPI Washington State beat Washington 3-1
Mahalo, 7. bowsfan!
6’1″ soph OH Devon Kahahawai from Kamehameha. Had a great game against Punahou. She has a lot of skills and is very athletic like her dad Mike who is the son of long time Kailua football coach and AD Joe Kahahawai . Can play six rotations and may not be done growing. Kevin Wong mentioned on the telecast that nite that she’s the kind of player that has a chance to be a player of the year candidate before she graduates. I agree it would be exciting to someday see her in a Wahine uniform if all the stars align.
Remove all doubt.
