    Hit the beach running.
Great cross training for the mind as well as the body.
    Go Warriors!

    ST,
Who were the wahine training with them?

Most schools do such training in man made sand boxes. UH gets to trained on Waikiki Beach. Great recruiting tool! Go Warriors!!

Looks like the VolleyBows! Nice work!

That’s quite a workout. I’ve been in the water at that spot. The sand slope is very soft and deep and difficult to walk, much less run. OK, I came up the beach like a spider…but I got excuses. 🙁

are there any players who CANNOT swim? alternative exercise to swimming?

Running in sand – perfect training for Warriors! Cool to see the wahine out there too!

Warriors all! All Warriors! GO WARRIORS!!!

Someone once told me he saw Semeri Ulufale at the beach in water up to his waist…running as hard as he could.
    H2O conditioning.

Looked like Boone Abbott was having a blast. Not to many beach workouts growing up in Utah.

Awesome for Rolo and his staff to allow the Wahine to work out too. Many on the Wahine team are not here yet so it’s good for the girls to have somebody other them 5 of them to train with.

Always more fun to train in a large group.

Impressive. I like this style of conditioning drill. Will pay dividends. Cole looks like a LB or DE. Can’t wait for the first game.
    Go Warriors !!!

Dogs gave Warriors a whipping at Fresno last year, 50-20. Looking for Warriors to return the favor at Aloha Stadium. Will be watching to see how Warriors defense can stop Dogs’ RB Ronnie Rivers. He’s a good one.

now, how did a “hot-dawg” post here?

dats OK cause that fellow Tsaiko from Georgia, honorary, posted during the 2017-18 season — best wishes to he and his sons whom we met at the Tsaiko cattle call

dang, I miss Florida Ted who drove nearly 2 hours one-way to meet with us at the Golden Corral in Orlando — I had never met or saw what he looked like, but the second I saw him walking toward me at the front entrance, I immediately walked toward him smiling with my hand out to shake his and hug him — his presence alone made up for all the smiles around — late Big Hilo Fan and his family, Chawan-cut, late Rep Mark Takai and friend, Alanbama,

scrambling to get out of Orlando due to arriving hurricane, at the boarding gate, we met Tony Pollard and wife – parents of Royce Pollard — also ran into our cross valley friends Ken & Betty Honma ( founder of Wholesale Limited )

we made a pit stop in Vegas and Rasu Bagasu and Kumi treated us to dinner at a Chinese Restaurant C-town — John’s license plate read: POI DOG

many good memories and forever thankful to Mrs. A-House who took all those pictures and created an album for every road trip we took!!!!!

How many remember Fresno St was the MWC champion last season with a 12-2 record and beat Arizona State 31-20 in the Las Vegas Bowl last year? I know I didn’t. Had to look it up. Fresno beat Boise St 19-16 in OT, after having lost to them in the regular season 17-24, to win the MWC championship. I am so forward to the Fresno St game.

Farris’ upper body looks stronger/bigger than last year. Now he just has to loosen up his hips more. Get more “swivel-ly”. Plus add some “healthy” doses of physicality. Can be shut down type coverer. Awesome.

  15. sackkabooya June 29, 2019 9:43 am

BTW same can be said for McDonald. Get “swivel-ly”. NFL safety, H back, slot, wideout, OLB, KR, punt returner, as well as QB.

    ahhh…to be young.

    RE: #12
A-House — you mentioned many names of great Tsai-kos who have passed away. They are remembered in the MEMORIUM section of the Tsai-ko Hall of Fame:

  19. A-House June 30, 2019 8:08 am

Thanks, Steve M — pictures brought back many good memories!!!

    ST:

BTW, did not UH receive a commitment from a Big Island kicker/punter for 2020? of is he for 2019?

  20. A-House June 30, 2019 8:11 am

new punter/kicker commit — seems to have a strong leg — much like Jason Elam

by strong leg, I refer to only the lower body power — unlike many who seem to use the entire body and fall off-balance after impact

  21. burro sabio June 30, 2019 10:04 am

So where does this leave Harry Hill? He can simply seize the kicking job next spring.
