When they showed the replay of Ozee’s kill that went out, the bottom ticker covered it up.
others have said it landed in on the tape and that one of the UCLA players stepped on it.

yes, I thought that was in. I don’t remember seeing about the UCLA player stepping on it though. I’m surprised there wasn’t a debate about that
Anyone know why Dreeuws was a scratch on pair #5 and why Iosia replaced her? Seems Dreeuws has the experience of playing at Gulf Shores (last year with Zalopany). Is Dreeuws injured? Seems the 5’s didn’t do too well in their score vs. UCLA. Hopefully, they can do better against Cal Poly.
Why is Iosia playing? She just joined the team a few weeks ago, they were doing so well before she joined!!
8. Iosia is a seasoned player and was a starter before she was forced to commit to indoor full time in ’17. Her experience is showing on the WINs column.
7-8-9. she is playing because she’s a very good beach player. She played in last week’s Big West tourney and went 2-0 with Homayun after Scoles’ injury.
Congrats to Joe, Gage & Rado on their OTB Position POY awards. Stijn was edged out by DeFalco, unfortunately. Pat was 2nd in the MB category, far behind Gyimah.

5 – YES! It really looked in, and then I couldn’t believe that the UCLA player intentionally stepped on the mark!
5 – If it were a jury trial, the player would have been guilty of tampering with the evidence. She walked right over, looked down, then stepped on the mark. She wouldn’t have done that unless the mark clearly showed it was in.
12-13. I didn’t see it but coach Jeff Hall said the UCLA player stepped on the tape, which did shift the sand. He said the bottom line is with 87 cameras there should be a way to get a monitor on each court for video replay challenge system. He intends to address it at the tournament.
Anyone know if D and B is going to show the mens game tomorrow? or where would be a good place to watch?
After re-watching that shot online, McNamara’s stepping on the spot looks less egregious, but at the time it happened I was totally focused in on the spot so when she stepped on it I was like “WTF”! But also the more I watch it, the more in Ozee’s shot looks.
