The Rainbow Warrior alumni and current players tie at 2-2. They had announced they were only going to play 4 sets.

Set 4: Alumni take the last one 25-20
Set 3: alumni win 25-23, needed four swings at ending it after leading 24-20.

Set 1: UH 25-11
No real stats being taken. alumni win 25-11. Warriors had their usual starting lineup. Alumni started Kai Kahele, Kolby Kanetake, Nemanja Komar, Maulia LaBarre, Tui Tuileta as an OH, Matt Larson and Joby Ramos.

Hawaii announced earlier today the offer of free admission to furloughed U.S. Government employees who were impacted by the government shutdown. Federal employees can receive free tickets to the men’s and women’s basketball doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 2 and men’s volleyball match on Sunday, Feb. 3 at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Although the shutdown is officially over, the offer remains in affect.
The ticket comes with a free hotdog and soda, courtesy of Sodexo.
Federal employees must show their current valid government ID to receive up to four tickets per event. Tickets will be available at the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office on game days, 90 minutes prior to game time.

Tuileta gets his final serve in at 63.1. Solbrig, who hit 65.9 during qualifying, didn’t get his serve in so it didn’t count.
Alumni up 2-0.

Third is a setting contest 20 seconds into the net (kind of like a pop-a-shot)

Worsley wins 13-11
Next Patrick Gasman vs. Joby Ramos Gasman 12-9
Worsley vs. Beckwith in long distance set. Beckwith wins 3-2.


fourth is who hits the hardest ball. James Anastassiades vs. Mamane Namahoe. Namahoe wins by default when Anastassiades netted
