Smooth road practice for Warriors
GREELEY, COLO. >> After arriving in Colorado early today, the Warriors rested and then participated in a no-padded workout on the Northern Colorado campus.
The intent was to get acclimated to Colorado’s high altitude and adjust from the jet lag. A more thorough workout is planned for tomorrow. The pattern was flipped from the usual schedule in which the Warriors have an extensive practice on Thursday and lighter walk-through on Friday.
We took a quick tour of the CSU campus:

UNC (now in Big Sky) used to be called Colorado Teachers College (?) back in the day. Many local kids used to attend there who became DOE teachers.
Old School Dave true that…they were giving me a lot of play back in the day. I visited and the hidden secret of UNC was that it was where you went to find a wife—or at least I was told, as I think in the early 80s it had two times as much females students to males, due to both the education and nursing school. Fun facts!
